With Asher’s temper, Lemira might be in for a tough Atime otherwise.  Evelina chimed in with fake concern, “Lemmy, now that Asher’s back, why don’t you stop being so stubborn?”  Alaric shot Evelina a frowning glance. Asher’s question was meant to give her an out! But Lemira didn’t take it!  Her tone was cool, her gaze defiant, “I’m perfectly sane.”  Asher’s face turned livid, “Lemira, I didn’t want to believe you’d do something so outrageous. In just a few months, you’ve let that school doctor lead you astray!”  “It’s because I’ve had enough of the Langstons, it has nothing to do with Orion.”  “You think I’d believe that?” Asher said with a grim face, “But too bad, you won’t be seeing that man anymore.  Lemira’s face turned pale immediately, “Asher, what are you planning to do to him?”  “What I do depends on your behavior just now. Unfortunately, you didn’t pass my test, so now I’ll make sure you fall in line with my own way.”  Lemira saw the bodyguards in the hallway and realized what was happening. She turned to Lucian, her eyes bloodshot, “So, this was all a setup?”  Lucian hurried to explain, “Lemmy, I had no idea Asher would come to the hospital now.”  “Enough, your explanations only make me sick.”  Lemira felt her body chilly. You cheated in the exams, if it wasn’t for me, do you think you could’ve suppressed this?”  Lemira was expressionless, “First of all, I didn’t cheat, so I don’t need you to suppress anything.”  “Still acting tough! Everyone’s seen your grades over the years. You think a sudden improvement in the last few months makes you the top student? You think no one would question your grades?”  Asher refused to believe Lemira could achieve such high scores.  Lucian intervened instantly upon hearing it, “Asher, Lemira’s improvement is the result of her hard work. Her teachers all say she’s capable. I believe she didn’t cheat.”  “Enough, you and Alaric are just wrapped around Lemira’s finger. She throws a tantrum, and you just let her?
