Chapter 263  Lemira stood her ground, letting out a cold smirk.  Evelina took a few steps back. She hadn’t expected Lucian to be here as well!  What now? Lucian had heard everything she said!  Swallowing hard, Evelina explained, “Lucian, I was just looking out for Lemmy, you know? The stunt she pulled has ticked off a bunch of people at school. I said those words because I was just worried she might not be able to have a peaceful life at this school in the future. That’s all I meant.”  But Lucian wasn’t buying it. He had caught the sneer in Evelina’s voice as well as a tone that was clearly different.  His suspicious gaze on Evelina hardened as he began to wonder if she had always been this two–faced, and if that was why Lemira’s relationship with their family had gradually soured.  cian turned to Lemíra, “Sis, call me if you run into any problem.
