Chapter 355

Lemira watched in awe as Orionโ€™s movements unfolded with professional grace. The young man was sent sprawling to the ground, too pained to utter a single word. Seeing one of his well-paying clients getting thrashed, a male trainer grabbed a metal filing cabinet nearby and hurled it towards Orion. Orion reached out to block it, and the trainer lunged at him. Suddenly, the scene erupted into chaos as the trainerโ€™s buddies joined the fray.

Lemira, seeing Orion outnumbered, dashed over to help. But as a girl, even one who had trained in boxing, she found herself at a disadvantage against the natural strength of men.

โ€œStop it, what are you doing?โ€

Just then, the gymโ€™s owner rushed over. The boxing coach, seeing Orion in the mix, panicked and swiftly subdued the group. The drama concluded.

The young man, hiding in the back, stood up cursing, โ€œYouโ€™re the boss, right? These two attacked me. How are you going to settle this?โ€ The trainer and his friends bore visible injuries.

Standing by Orion, Lemira suddenly noticed blood seeping from his arm, her concern evident. โ€œYouโ€™re bleeding.โ€

โ€œAre you hurt anywhere?โ€

Orionโ€™s first reaction was to check Lemira for injuries, and only after seeing her unharmed did he relax. The gym owner faced the young man, โ€œWeโ€™ve had several complaints about you harassing the ladies here. Did you think your actions went unnoticed?โ€

The young man felt cornered, โ€œBut it was mutual. You canโ€™t interfere.โ€

โ€œWe had surveillance footage of your harassment,โ€ the owner countered.

โ€œHmph, donโ€™t try to scare me. Iโ€™m definitely calling the police. I lost a tooth!โ€ The young manโ€™s speech was slurred, his mouth bloody.

โ€œCall the police then. Whoโ€™s afraid?โ€

Lemira, after speaking up, took Orionโ€™s hand, โ€œDo you have a first aid kit? His wound needs attention.โ€

โ€œWe do. Iโ€™ll get someone on it.โ€

Orion responded calmly, โ€œItโ€™s nothing.โ€

โ€œBleeding and itโ€™s nothing?โ€

Lemira led him to a quieter area of the boxing ring. Soon, the boxing coach arrived with a first aid kit, looking nervously at Orion, โ€œMr. Everhart, Iโ€™m sorry I couldnโ€™t intervene sooner.โ€

Who would have guessed the Everhart heir would end up in a brawl here and get injured at that. Lemira took the first aid kit, โ€œItโ€™s not your fault. Things escalated quickly.โ€

She sat beside Orion, inspecting the cut likely caused by the filing cabinet, just a scratch. Orion glanced at the coach, his gaze icy, โ€œHandle it outside.โ€

โ€œYes, sir.โ€

The coach hurried out. Lemira reached for the antiseptic, โ€œThis might sting a bit.โ€

โ€œJust a scratch,โ€ Orion remarked, though he paused when the antiseptic touched his skin, his gaze deep, โ€œOn purpose?โ€

โ€œOf course not. Cleaning wounds always hurts.โ€

Lemira glanced at him, then gently blew on the wound. Orion tensed up, turning his head away, his expression slightly awkward. The gym was quiet, just the two of them. He turned to see her diligently tending to his injury, her focus unwavering.

After she finished, Lemira looked up at him, โ€œI didnโ€™t expect someone as composed as you to flinch from a punch. That was unexpected.โ€

Orion, withdrawing his gaze, replied calmly, โ€œI just couldnโ€™t stand his nonsense.โ€ Usually, he didnโ€™t need to resort to violence. But he admitted to losing his temper, especially hearing that man spread rumors about her; he couldnโ€™t, and didnโ€™t want to, hold back.

He glanced at Lemira, โ€œYou threw punches too, and even knew to lure him where thereโ€™s no surveillance.โ€
