The next day, a sleek black luxury car with Betrico license plates was parked at the Chambers Group's entrance, attracting the attention of passersby. Some immediately recognized it as a newly released, limited-edition model from a famous foreign brand—only five existed worldwide, with only two imported into the country. The car's sudden appearance outside the nearly deserted Chambers Group building sparked suspicion. Those stationed near the building by competing companies quickly reported their findings to their superiors.

The car door opened. A man with gold-rimmed glasses emerged from the passenger seat and opened the rear door respectfully. A middle-aged man in a white suit, his hair perfectly coiffed, stepped out. This was Howard Yates, general manager of the Sunrise Group; the man with the gold-rimmed glasses was his secretary, Liam Davidson.

Liam bowed slightly. "Boss, this is the Chambers Group office building."

Howard nodded, his eyes half-closed, gazing blankly at the Chambers Group sign. He stepped inside, followed by Liam. Liam was puzzled. His boss had unexpectedly booked the earliest flight to Seacrity the previous night, and now they were here. He'd investigated the Chambers Group; while once established, it was now facing severe financial trouble and potential bankruptcy. He couldn't understand why Howard had come in person, wondering if it involved an acquisition, a task usually handled by specialists. Such a plan wasn't on the horizon, and a failing company was hardly a desirable acquisition target. The situation seemed illogical, yet he followed his boss inside.

The receptionist, a pretty girl named Julia Watts, sat at her desk, looking downcast and worried. Once sought after during the company's prosperity, she now browsed a dating website, listless and oblivious to Howard and Liam's arrival. Liam glanced at her screen, frowning. He thought, How did someone like her get this job? No wonder the Chambers Group is in such dire straits!

"Hello! We have a ten o'clock appointment today with Chairman Zachary Chambers," Liam announced.

Julia, startled, quickly closed the website, feeling guilty. Years of experience allowed her to instantly recognize wealth. She noticed Howard's antique watch, likely worth millions. She plastered on a sweet smile. "Sir, one moment please. I'll contact the secretary's office immediately." Liam nodded professionally.

On the 27th floor, Lucas emerged from the elevator, followed by Howard and Liam. Seeing Howard, he was shocked. The person Yvette had mentioned was the general manager of the Sunrise Group, the country's largest investment firm! He recalled Howard's legendary career: his unexpected investment in a failing company ten years prior, its subsequent growth, and his eventual sale of shares to pursue investing. He had successfully invested in countless ventures across multiple industries, never losing money. Known as "Ghost Hand," Howard was a business legend. Lucas wondered who Yvette was to attract Howard to this failing company.

Zachary was stunned upon seeing Howard, only regaining his composure when greeted. Even sipping coffee, he felt dizzy.

Howard casually observed Zachary. "So, he's the boss's father. He doesn't look bad." His smile was warm, his voice gentle, a stark contrast to rumors. "Hello, Mr. Chambers. I'm Howard Yates."

Liam was astonished. He would never have believed this was Howard had he not worked for him for so long.

Zachary hastily put down his coffee. Extending a hand, he began, "Hello, I'm Zachary from the Chambers Group..." His smile faltered. After tomorrow, there will be no Chambers Group, he thought.

Howard narrowed his eyes. He’d investigated the Chambers family situation. Looking at the worried man, he mused, What's there to worry about? If money can solve it, it's not a problem. The Chambers Group's fate depends on the boss. The Smith and Canter families will be finished. How dare they attack the boss's father's company? He concluded the boss had been slacking off.

Howard put down his coffee cup. "Mr. Chambers, I'm sure Ms. Chambers has already explained the purpose of my visit. She's quite thoughtful."

Zachary nodded, speaking quietly. "Yes. Yvette mentioned you wanted to invest. But honestly, the debt exceeds several hundred million. Even if you could save the company, promising future projects are scarce. I won't lie to you, given our relationship with Yvette. Don't worry, I'll speak to Yvette to ensure you aren't caught in a difficult position."
