Hearing this, Yvette looked at Andrew with her dark, clear eyes, untainted by dirt. A faint "Oh" escaped her lips before she opened the box, took a bite, and nodded in Andrew's expectant gaze. "Not bad," she declared.

Just as Andrew was about to boast, before he could utter a word, he clicked his tongue sharply. Yvette added, "It's worth one million dollars."

Andrew's smile froze. He blurted, "Which bastard sold me out?"

Yvette rested her chin on her hand, tapping the table intermittently, yawning languidly, and giving Andrew a half-smile, half-grimace, glancing at something behind him. "Bastard? This kid really doesn't understand that trouble stems from loose lips."

Charles calmly sipped his milk, then pointed behind Andrew, signaling him to turn around.

Andrew was confused. "What do you mean? Is there something behind me?" He turned in the direction Charles indicated. Seeing who stood there, he jumped in surprise. "Damn… why is my sister here?" Even in his stupidity, Andrew figured it out. Jeremiah had left for military district matters that morning; the only other person present was his sister. "My sister is the bastard?"

Andrew swallowed hard, considering faking his death. "The problem is, if I lie down and pretend to be dead, given my sister's temper, she might make my fake death real!"

He quickly tried to flatter Samantha. "When did you get here? Have you eaten breakfast? Perhaps your brother could cook you something delicious?"

Samantha, radiating a commanding presence, wore a neat white suit, her hair pulled back professionally. Her smile, to Andrew, was a death smile. Whenever his sister displayed this smile, he knew to run. He tried to flee, but Samantha was faster. She flung her bag, took two strides, and delivered a roundhouse kick, sending Andrew flying into the dining table chairs, his head smashing against the table leg.

He lay face down, yelling plaintively, "Damn it, sister! You ambushed me again!"

Samantha calmly smoothed her suit, smiling at the pitiful Andrew. "You're reacting too slowly, blaming me? Who else could it be? Come on, tell me properly!"

Andrew rubbed his bruised backside, climbing to his feet. "I didn't know it was you, sister. You went too far by telling Yve," he muttered, lacking confidence. "Earning that million dollars wasn't easy!"

Samantha ignored him, sitting beside Yvette. With Jeremiah absent, she wouldn't miss this opportunity to get closer to Yvette. "Yve, are you going to the exchange competition with Jeremiah tomorrow as well?"

Yvette nodded, taking a sip of milk. "Okay," she replied wearily.

Samantha, understanding Yvette's brevity, continued, "I'll go too. Let's sit together at the competition."

Yvette nodded. "Alright."

Samantha turned and waved at Andrew. He reluctantly approached. "Sister, what else do you want?"

Samantha produced her phone, opening her payment code. "Transfer the million dollars to me. Don't even think about hiding it."

Andrew, unable to resist, tearfully transferred the money. 'My sister Samantha is a complete nag! My million dollars, gone the moment I got it…'

Charles lowered his newspaper, glancing at the siblings. His eyes deepened. "These two really aren't alike at all. All the intelligence went to the sister."

That afternoon, Yvette visited the Chavez family, selecting a dress for Aurora to wear at the exchange competition. As the wife of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs head, Aurora would be accompanying the delegation for two days.

The competition consisted of two events: chess on the first day and fencing on the second. The format was simple—a single game decided each event.

The night before, Robin and Kaiden barely slept. Robin's anger and pain kept him awake, while Kaiden worried about Yvette as an unpredictable factor. Yvette, however, slept soundly after dinner.

The highly anticipated exchange competition was scheduled to begin at 1 PM the next day. The world's media focused on the Eastern Hotel, the venue, fiercely competing for the best vantage points to secure firsthand information. Only a limited number of official media were allowed entry.

Before the competition, a small banquet was held for the families of Betrico officials and members of the Ybaulla delegation. The guest list was exclusive, but that didn't stop the media from waiting at the entrance.

The banquet hall was in the Eastern Hotel, the same location used for state guests. The competition venue was conveniently located next door.

In Banquet Hall No. 1, Aurora accompanied Clifford. Jase and Kyle would attend the competition later.

Aurora wore the dress Yvette had altered—a purple brocade satin gown, hand-painted with Art Nouveau plum blossoms and ink wash designs. The dress, the first piece from "Vibe"'s next season's Renaissance collection, showcased Aurora's figure beautifully.

Upon entering, she captivated the women. The men dared only a glance, deterred by Clifford's obvious possessiveness.

Aurora stood tall, offering a gracious smile. Clifford wore a dark suit that complemented her dress. They were a striking pair.

Samantha arrived with Tim, wearing a blue mermaid dress. Her commanding presence drew attention, though many already knew her as a shopping mall diva.

Samantha, holding a wine glass, approached Clifford and Aurora. "Mr. Chavez, Aurora, didn't Jeremiah and Yve come with you?"
