Chapter 190: Back in the Spotlight
Hayleyโs POV:
I instinctively looked up, my finger pressing the lock button as the phone screen darkened. โYouโre here because of Christopher?โ I asked.
Siete met my gaze before responding. โAt this point, youโre the only one who can get him out of this mess.โ
My grip on the phone tightened slightly before I answered, โThis was my oversight. Iโll help clear his name.โ
Siete seemed genuinely surprised, staring at me for a moment. โI didnโt expect you to agree so easily. I thought Iโd be wasting my time coming here.โ
โThank you, Harmony,โ Siete said sincerely.
I looked straight at him. โIโm not doing this for you.โ
Sieteโs surprise lingered for a moment before he gave a bitter smile. โI know.โ
โNo matter whatโs gone on between us, it has nothing to do with Christopher. This happened because I wasnโt careful, and itโs my responsibility to clean up the mess I caused.โ
I explained further, even though I knew there wasnโt much point. Still, I didnโt want Siete to get the wrong idea.
Siete watched me closely. โHarmony, you havenโt changed a bit. Youโre still always thinking of others first.โ
I pressed my lips together and said nothing more, pulling out my phone instead. The post I had carefully drafted earlier was already on the screen. Taking one last look at it, I tapped send.
โItโs done. Iโve posted the statement,โ I said, putting my phone away. โI should go now. Goodbye.โ
Without waiting for a reply, I turned and walked off. As soon as I was away from Siete, both Hera and I felt a wave of relief.
Siete watched Hayleyโs figure disappear into the distance. He opened his mouth to say something but swallowed the words at the last second. Instead, he pulled out his phone and checked the post Harmony had just published.
Hello everyone, this is Harmony. Iโm here to clear up some confusion about Mr. Christopher Southwellโs new song. It was a collaborative effort between us. Apologies for any misunderstandings, and thank you for your support!
Little did she know, her post set off a massive ripple effect across the internet. Within a minute of her post going live, the comment count had already amassed ten thousand and was climbing rapidly. In just fifteen minutes, the hashtag #HarmonyRespondstoChristopherNewSongCollab shot straight to the top of Twitterโs trending list.

Christopherโs POV:
When I logged back online, I was stunned. Harmonyโs fans had flocked to my song, downloading, streaming, and even giving it rewards. My new track had soared to the top of the charts in no time, even breaking records for the fastest downloads. Then I saw Harmonyโs tweet, and my jaw practically hit the floor.
Caesar, on the other hand, sighed in relief. โChristopher, when did you get so close to Harmony? And why didnโt you tell me? If Iโd known you knew her, I wouldโve begged for an autograph ages ago.โ
โI donโt know her!โ I blurted out, still in complete disbelief.
Caesar thought I was joking. But in my mind, a familiar face suddenly surfaced.
