Chapter 102
Dustin kicked the limp body beside him. It flew like a bullet, crashing into Mr. Gardner, who was attempting to escape. Gardner screamed, fell to the ground, and could run no longer.
“I warned you not to touch her,” Dustin hissed, strolling toward him, his eyes boring dangerously into Mr. Gardner.
“Kid, don’t forget you’re in a police station! You can’t go too far!” Mr. Gardner scrambled backward on all fours.
“Too far? What will you do about it?” Dustin chuckled, crushing Mr. Gardner’s arm with his foot.
Mr. Gardner howled in agony from the immense pain of his broken arm.
“Dustin! Stop it!” Dahlia’s face drained of blood. “Even if they’re innocent, they could be charged with excessive self-defense if they fight back. It would only complicate the situation!”
“Come to your senses, kid! Confess and turn yourself in while you still can. Otherwise, there will be no mercy!” Mr. Gardner threatened, grimacing.
Without a word, Dustin kicked Mr. Gardner in the stomach. Mr. Gardner reflexively vomited the remnants of last night's dinner, while also involuntarily urinating. A putrid stench filled the air.
“You—you!” Mr. Gardner’s face turned red from violent coughing as nausea brought up bile.
“Dustin, have you gone crazy? If something happens to Mr. Gardner, we’ll have to take responsibility!” Dahlia cried frantically.
“Even if I didn’t fight back, he wouldn’t have let us go. Since things have come to this, we should just kill him,” Dustin retorted nonchalantly.
“The situation hasn’t escalated to that level. Stop it now, and we can still fix this. If you murder Mr. Gardner, everyone will pay for your mistakes!” Dahlia pleaded. What if Dustin really went insane and did something stupid?
“Do you hear that? Another violation, and I will make sure you and your whole family pay!” Mr. Gardner roared.
Draco burst into the room with several underlings, alerted by the commotion. They were stunned by the bloody scene and Mr. Gardner’s injuries.
“Kid, you must be looking for death! Let Mr. Gardner go immediately if you want to live!” Draco warned.
“Let him go? Alright, take him.” Dustin kicked Mr. Gardner, sending him flying into the air. He landed hard on several of Draco’s underlings, taking them down.
Dahlia was speechless at Dustin’s impudence. She never thought he would be so reckless. Even surrounded by ruthless men, he didn’t even consider surrendering. Had Dustin gone mad? Didn't he understand the consequences of crossing Mr. Gardner, the police inspector—also known as Heinous Hades—and officer in charge of the prison and criminal interrogations? The lives of prisoners were at his mercy. How could Dustin be so bold?
“Mr. Gardner, are you alright?” Draco quickly helped him up.
Mr. Gardner spewed profanity in a blind rage, ordering his men, “All of you! Kill that kid right now! I want him dead and his body chopped into pieces!” He’d never been so humiliated.
“Kill him!” Draco shouted as his men drew weapons and charged toward Dustin.
Just as the fight was about to begin, a loud voice boomed from the doorway: “Stop this instant!”
