Chapter 213

Despite running a large family business, Roderick had no heir. It was a tragedy.

“Mr. Brooks, don’t worry,” Dustin said, smiling. “The knife injury may have affected your fertility, but it’s treatable. Once you recover, you can have another son, or even ten! It won’t be a problem.” He attempted to cheer Roderick up.

“Really?” Roderick asked, his face expectant and trembling.

For the past six months, he hadn’t slept with his wife because of erectile dysfunction. However, his pride prevented him from revealing this. Therefore, the news that he might regain his potency was incredibly uplifting.

“Mr. Brooks,” Dustin said, producing a tablet, “I’ve developed Gemiphen. It improves circulation and heals internal injuries. Give it a try.”

“Okay!” Roderick said, swallowing the Gemiphen without hesitation.

A wave of warmth spread through his body as the tablet dissolved. His mood lifted, and he felt an inexplicable improvement in his overall well-being. The pain in his lower back significantly lessened.

“Amazing! This is amazing, Mr. Rhys! Your miracle tablet is extraordinary!” Roderick exclaimed, overjoyed by the dramatic changes in his body. He felt as if he had a brand-new body. His previous doubts about Dustin’s abilities vanished, replaced by utter conviction. Any famous doctor paled in comparison to Dustin.

“Take one Gemiphen every three days,” Dustin instructed, handing Roderick a small glass bottle filled with the medication. “After a month, you’ll be completely recovered.”

“Thank you so much, Mr. Rhys! I’ll never forget your kindness!” Roderick said, emotionally kneeling.

“Mr. Brooks, please get up. It was nothing,” Dustin said, quickly helping him to his feet. He felt a sense of relief, knowing he had successfully treated Roderick’s ailment.

“Mr. Rhys, you’re too humble. Without your help, my life would have been over!” Roderick said, his face beaming with gratitude. He felt like a new man. His regained potency restored his sense of manhood and gave him a renewed sense of purpose.

Chapter 213 (continued)

“Mr. Brooks, now that Dustin has cured your illness, how do you plan to repay him?” Natasha asked, partly in jest. As Roderick’s wife, she felt it was time to discuss compensation.

“Name your price, Mr. Rhys. If I can do it, I will!” Roderick replied, placing a hand on his chest to emphasize his sincerity.

“I only need precious herbs: heliotropes, cherusia, and Crimson Gem flowers. If you have them, Mr. Brooks, I would be pleased,” Dustin said, stating his terms.

“I haven’t collected such herbs before, but I’ll send someone to investigate. I’ll buy them for you immediately once I have news, Mr. Rhys!” Roderick promised.

“Thank you, Mr. Brooks,” Dustin said.

“No, no. I should be thanking you, Mr. Rhys,” Roderick replied, feeling profound respect for Dustin’s remarkable abilities.

Just then, an elderly butler approached. “Sir, Phineas Lacey and his son are here to see you. They say they have something to discuss.”

“Phineas Lacey? What is he doing here?” Roderick said, rubbing his chin.

“It’s a small world,” Dustin murmured, narrowing his eyes. “I didn’t expect to run into them here.”

“You know them, Mr. Rhys?” Roderick asked.

“Yes, and we had a conflict,” Dustin said, recounting the entire story.

After hearing the account, Roderick snorted. “Those two bastards are arrogant bullies. I hate people like that! Come with me, Mr. Rhys. Today, I’ll show them what I think!”
