Chapter 203
Odalys didn't pick many plums because they were a bit sour.
"Selah, come and try!" Freya shouted excitedly, beckoning Selah over.
Thanks to the show, the three women had become close. Selah ran over at the call and tripped. "No!" she screamed, falling to the ground. Thanks to the dead leaves and grass, she wasn't hurt. She quickly sat up.
"Take your time," Freya said, walking over to help Selah up. Odalys wrapped her arm around Selah's waist to assist. Selah soon regained her footing, patting leaves from her clothes and grinning. "Didn't I eat Miracle Fruit? I'm anxious to try the plums."
"Here you are," Odalys said, wiping a plum on her sleeve before stuffing it into Selah's mouth.
Selah's eyes lit up after one bite. "Not sour!" Surprised, she took two more bites.
Freya picked a few plums, ate them, and found no sour taste. She and Selah looked at Odalys and asked, "Did you eat the plums?"
"Sour, very sour. We can eat them with a pepper sauce," Odalys suggested.
With two pounds of plums, the three women headed toward base. After a few steps, they found wild watermelons in a nearby bamboo forest. They gasped, whispering, "Watermelons!" "They're everywhere! They seem wild," Selah added.
They selected a six-pound watermelon and carried it away. What a harvest!
In a good mood, the three women returned. Stellan and Francis were shocked by the watermelon. "Where did you get this?" they asked.
"We found it in the bamboo forest. It must be wild. There are a lot, but only this one seemed ripe," Freya answered.
Odalys put down the watermelon. Selah and Freya exchanged a glance.
Soon, the plums were washed and presented to Francis and Stellan. Selah and Freya urged them to try them.
"Sour, aren't they?" Francis frowned.
Out of politeness, Stellan and Francis each took a plum and bit into it. Tears welled up in their eyes, and they spat the plums out immediately.
Selah and Freya then showed them the Miracle Fruit and explained its effects, as Odalys had done.
"Is it amazing?" Francis asked, suspicion on his face. He ate two Miracle Fruits, then tried the plums again. "The plums are sweet! Incredible!" he exclaimed, his sense of taste restored. Stellan repeated the experiment with the same result. Their taste changed. They then took photos of the fruit and enthusiastically promoted it to viewers.
[Oh, they look so silly!]
[What a surprise that the two aloof hunks became fans of Miracle Fruit!]
[I googled Miracle Fruit and placed an order!]
[I need this fruit! With it, I won't eat sour things anymore!]
[New knowledge to me. Odalys seems like an encyclopedia. What has she been through? At 20, she's more sophisticated than me.]
[Abandoned by her family, she had to stand on her own two feet. I feel sorry for her.]
Viewers posted comments while watching the show. They seemed peaceful and harmonious in Group A's absence, accepting Francis as a member and seemingly forgetting his affiliation with Group A. They had forgiven him.
[The absence of Sophia and her team members is good for my health!]
[Agree, my friend. A few days ago, I was too angry to sleep.]
[I can't wait to see who will be so lucky to marry Sophia, that catty woman!]
While netizens debated, Group B prepared dinner. They made a bone and pepper soup, and a feast followed, including meats, vegetables, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, shrimp, crab, and two fish.
Group B and Francis sat down to eat when Atlas arrived. He looked at them with disdain.
"Francis, you're a member of Group A, but you often dine with Group B. Viewers might mistake this for betrayal," Atlas said sarcastically. He was very dissatisfied with Francis.
Francis retorted, "What betrayal? Group B invites me to dine with them, and I accept. You don't do tasks or look for food. Do you want me to provide for you? I'm your group member, not your slave. I'm not obliged to find food for you. Besides, I found the food with Group B, so I'm qualified to dine with them. Any problems, Mr. Bennett?"
Atlas, humiliated, didn't know how to respond. Angry, he threatened, "Stay with Group B tonight since you like them so much. Our room is too small for three grown men." He assumed Stellan, a neat freak, wouldn't share a bed with Francis, and planned to make Francis beg by locking their room door.
"You" Francis was shocked by Atlas's shamelessness. The room was rented by the film crew, not Atlas's personal property. Atlas was trying to kick Francis out before the viewers. How petty, Francis thought. Atlas was jealous of Francis while refusing to work or forage.

"Fine. I'll get my luggage later. After tonight, the shooting's over," Francis said angrily. He wouldn't back down. As an international model, he had his pride.
"Alright, move out," Atlas panicked. He'd gone too far but couldn't bring himself to apologize. What will others think if I apologize? he wondered.
After Francis agreed to move, Atlas stalked away, defeated.
