Dorian stared at the screen. "Bro, why are you video calling?" At that moment, the man noticed his discarded phone light up.

The burly man strode forward. Seeing the video call on the screen, his face paled. "Damn it! I didn't answer the call. Didn't I hang—" He stared, ashen-faced, at the still-connected video call.

The screen on the other end went black. The burly man quickly hung up and sent a message: "Baby, my brother just came over. He was only wearing underwear. Don't mind him."

Dorian's hand instantly dropped the phone.

A cough came from behind him. Dorian and Odalys whirled to see Percival, Evander, Orson, Callum, and another elderly man in black suits. They stared at Dorian with sympathetic expressions.

"Mr. Stewart, I still have food cooking downstairs," Dorian said, practically fleeing the room, phone clutched in his hand.

Silence fell. The others exchanged uneasy glances.

"Sorry for entering without permission," Percival explained in his deep voice. "Clarence arrived and wanted to greet you. We didn't expect your door to be unlocked." He'd clearly witnessed the entire scene and was equally shocked.

Evander chuckled, turning to Odalys. "Come here! This is Clarence Lark, Orson's grandfather and head of the Lark Group."

Clarence, a refined-looking man in a black suit, stood beside the powerfully built Evander.

"Hello, Mr. Lark," Odalys greeted him.

Clarence's sharp eyes appraised Odalys, a hint of amazement in their depths. "This girl is truly beautiful! I didn't expect the Stewart family to have such a remarkable…" He nodded repeatedly. "I'm from a medical family. I can tell she's incredibly healthy."

"That's right," Evander said proudly. "I arranged Percival's marriage. Who could have better taste than me?"

Clarence felt a pang of regret. He liked Odalys very much. "Girl, what happened? Why did Dorian's online date suddenly answer the video call?"

"It's simple," Odalys said calmly. "I used my consciousness to influence him through the phone. He thought he'd hung up, revealing his true thoughts."

Clarence gasped. "You controlled him through the phone, just with your consciousness?"

"Yes, but it's energy-intensive," Odalys explained softly. "I only did it to prevent Dorian from being deceived."

"She's my granddaughter-in-law," Evander interrupted, throwing an arm around Clarence. "If she teaches anyone, it'll be me first. Come downstairs with me!" He steered Clarence out.

Orson and Callum followed, exchanging glances with Percival.

Percival closed the door. "Something's wrong with that man," he murmured, his voice husky. He knew Odalys wouldn't manipulate others without reason.

Odalys, surprised he'd guessed, stood by the window. "Someone deliberately targeted Dorian, influencing his mind to make him lovestruck."

"Otherwise, Dorian wouldn't casually fall for someone online," Percival agreed, his voice cold. "He's acted strangely these past few days. Someone dared to target the Stewart Villa." A challenge flashed in his dark eyes. The Stewarts protected their own.

"It feels like Oliver's style," Odalys said. "He went to Tillery Villa the night before last and found nothing. The Tillerys didn't fall for his tricks. He must be anxious. I can easily pick up on others' scents; it's innate."

"He's impatient," Percival stated. "He's been trying to approach the Bennett family, but they're too panicked to pay him attention. So, he's targeting the Stewart Villa."

Odalys, brushing her teeth, added, "But don't act yet. Let him become desperate. We still don't know where Eddie Lund came from. Oliver is manipulating Dorian to get information about you, just like the Bennett family used Eddie."
