Chapter 493
Caspian listened silently.
“More importantly,” Caspian continued, “we need to find out why Mom and Dad adopted Sophia and why they abandoned Odalys.”
Henry nodded.
As the three men talked, a sweet woman's voice called from behind them. "Guys, what are you talking about?" Sophia's coquettish voice inquired.
They turned to see her approaching, swaying her hips. Her clothes were slightly disheveled, but her eyes were full of charm. She bit her lip shyly.
"Nothing, nothing," Atlas stammered, grabbing the railing in fright. He swallowed nervously, avoiding her gaze.
"Tim's leaving," Henry said coldly, then walked away. Caspian followed without a word.
Sophia, tears welling in her eyes, grabbed Atlas's arm. "Atlas," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Do you hate me too?"
Atlas's heart softened at her pitiful appearance. He wondered if his brothers were overreacting, yet unsettling memories flickered in his mind.
"Don't cry. I don't hate you," he said helplessly.
Sophia threw herself into his arms. "You're the best, Atlas," she said, hugging him tightly.
Atlas froze, recalling the previous night when she'd pinned him down and torn open his shirt. He still couldn't believe it had happened.
"My stomach hurts so much," Sophia said, her expression changing. She clutched her stomach, her hand clinging to his clothes. "Atlas, can you carry me to my room?"
Seeing her pain, Atlas quickly helped her up. "Are you alright? Is it the baby?" he asked, concerned.
Panicked, he scooped her into his arms and strode towards her bedroom. He kicked open the door and placed her on the bed. Then he heard a loud bang as the door slammed shut.
Atlas jolted awake, drenched in cold sweat. Sophia lay on the bed. As he turned to leave, she caught his hand and pulled him down onto the bed. He lost his balance and fell on top of her. Sophia cried out.
As Atlas tried to sit up, his hand brushed against her dress. With a ripping sound, it tore, revealing her skin. His gaze fell on her smooth skin, and he swallowed nervously.
"Atlas, look," Sophia whimpered, pressing his hand to her body. "It really hurts."
The instant Atlas's fingers brushed her collarbone, he froze, scrambling off the bed. But as he reached for the doorknob, arms enveloped him from behind.
Chapter 193
"Atlas, do you hate me too?" Sophia asked, her arms tightening around him. Her face pressed against his back; she rubbed against him, her fingertips teasing his skin.
"No," Atlas said, his heart pounding. He pulled hard at the door, but it wouldn't open. Panicked, he tried to pry her hands off, but the urge to take advantage of the situation overcame him. Inappropriate images flooded his mind, leaving him frozen.
"Get lost!" Atlas yelled, slapping her hard across the face. He glared at her before storming out, slamming the door. "Are you out of your mind?"
Sophia clutched her stinging cheek, her eyes blazing with hatred. "You hit me? You dare lay a hand on me? If your blood wasn't so useful, do you think I'd bother seducing you!"
She thought of Windsor touching her belly. She suspected he wanted to harm her baby. "It seems Windsor is after my baby," she whispered. "If Edie gets pregnant, will he go after hers too? A bunch of fools."
After taking Atlas's blood the previous night, she felt bursting with energy. Everything she'd done was an act, feigning weakness to manipulate them. But the Bennetts were becoming wary. She couldn't let that happen.
She opened a secret compartment, took out a love spell, and placed it on the table. She cut her finger, dipped a pen in her blood, and wrote the astrological signs of Atlas, Henry, and Caspian on the talisman. Then she burned it.
A wave of comfort washed over her. She slipped off her camisole, sank onto the bed, and closed her eyes.
Meanwhile, Atlas bolted downstairs, losing a shoe. "Henry! Caspian!" he called, but they were gone. He called Odalys, but her phone was unreachable. Furious, he roared, "Odalys, you hit me last night, and now you're blocking me? Do you really want me dead?" He frantically called Caspian: "Caspian, Sophia tried to seduce me! I'm so scared, where are you?" He pulled up his pants and rushed out.
Meanwhile, at Magic Entertainment, many fans left gifts at the gate. After Catalys finished her livestream, she drove to…
As she got out of the car, two figures emerged from behind a column, blocking her path.
Chapter 493 (Continued)
"Caspian, Henry, what are you doing here?" Odalys frowned, unhappy to see them. Her eyes narrowed as she noticed their darkening aura. She subconsciously took a step back. Even if their misfortune couldn't affect her, she didn't like being close to them.
"Odalys," Caspian said, licking his lips. "Can you help us?"
"What?" Odalys asked, surprised.
