Chapter 495

"He was about to speak when he heard Arlay's voice behind him. Atlas had parked the car and was hurrying toward them, his clothes slightly disheveled.

“Henry, Caplan,” Atlas panted, his legs feeling weak. He was still afraid, feeling as if Sophia's soft hands were still wandering over his body. When she had thrown herself into his arms, acting coy, he had felt protective and indulgent. Now, however, her touch felt like a snake slithering across his skin.

Arlay couldn't help but laugh at his expression. Atlas ran over and stood with them; a cloud of black mist rose around them, as if to engulf them all.

“The mist had been dense before, but now it was pushing toward their foreheads, poised to seep into their very essence,” Odalys thought. “Sophia must be desperate to have used the Love Spell again.”

Evander turned and asked Odalys,

Odalys reached out to cover her lips, lowering her voice. “You were quite intimidating just now, scolding them relentlessly. It was awesome.”

Evander felt a surge of happiness after being praised by her.

Last night, after returning from the time tunnel, he had sat under the tree in front of the Stewart family’s house for a long time, until he fell asleep and woke up in the morning. His mood suddenly brightened considerably. Knowing that Odalys had brought his son back, he seemed to have found hope, vaguely feeling that he would have the opportunity to see his son again in the future.

“Odalys, we were wrong about what happened in the past. Now, the three of us are here to sincerely apologize. We hope you can forgive us and save us,” Caspian suddenly spoke.

He was someone who could let go of pride when necessary. Now, he didn’t even care about his dignity. All he wanted was to live. Especially after realizing that the strange occurrences at his estate might be the work of the Stewart family, he felt that his life now depended entirely on their goodwill.

“Just now, Sophia tried to seduce me. Look at the injuries…” He lifted his clothes, wanting to show her his injuries.

“Injuries on my body! She did this! She’s trying to kill me?” Arlay quickly interjected.

But Odalys only glanced at him. She then reached out to support Evander’s arm and said, “Evander, it’s too sunny outside. Let’s go inside.”

“Okay,” Evander responded indulgently.

Durian (presumably a person) was there, watching the others who wanted to follow. He quickly picked up a cup, splashed it at them, and said, “This is a sacred place for mystics. Outsiders are not welcome.”

Atlas was dumbfounded. He thought Arlay would sympathize with him, but she just walked away.

“Isn’t Magic Entertainment supposed to allow people to go in and offer prayers? Can’t we at least go in to pay our respects?” Arlay grumbled, still unwilling to give up.

He charged toward the door, but just as he got close, a sudden force struck him, sending him flying backward. Atlas fell to the ground, blood flowing from the corner of his mouth. He looked at the door in disbelief and whispered, “Is she really that powerful?” He was bounced back without even touching anything.

“Let’s go.” Henry reached out, pulled up Atlas, and dragged him out.

After getting into the car, they didn’t drive away immediately but sat quietly. Caspian irritably took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth. Listening to Atlas recount what had just happened, he remained silent, staring thoughtfully at the entrance of Magic Entertainment.

“This time, she really left us to die,” Caspian said.

Henry sat in the driver’s seat, his phone vibrating constantly. He glanced at the number on the screen. It was Edie calling.

“It seems we can only save ourselves. We need to find a way to get the Love Spell. Since Sophia can use the Love Spell to manipulate others, then if we acquire it, we can not only save ourselves but perhaps even…” Henry didn’t finish his sentence but stared at the entrance of Magic Entertainment.

Henry swore the humiliation they suffered that day would not be forgotten. Retribution would come. He didn’t believe the Stewart family could protect Odalys forever. A wealthy and powerful family like the Stewarts would definitely kick her out once she was no longer useful. They only acknowledged her now because she was a source of public attention and admiration.

“Where can we get a Love Spell?” Atlas asked, confused. He had never come into contact with magic and had no idea where to find an expert.

Henry said thoughtfully, “Track down everyone Sophia has been in contact with. I refuse to believe we can’t find the person who sold her the Love Spell. And if we can’t get it that way, perhaps Sophia herself already has some.” He added, “Control her, and the Love Spell is ours.”

Caspian remained silent, neither objecting nor supporting.

“Caspian, what do you think?” Henry glanced at him and asked.

Only after being called out did Caspian take out his lighter, lit the cigarette, took a drag, and flicked the ash out the window.

Caspian said, “I feel like everything started with Odalys’s abandonment. What made Mom and Dad abandon her? What made them bring Sophia home? Was it the lure of profit, or something else? Why did Dad defile Sophia before he went abroad? With his status, he could have had any woman he wanted. Why Sophia?”

Caspian analyzed, “Was there something special about her virginity? Or was there something special about her body? I had someone look into it. Dad didn’t look for any woman after he went abroad.” If Windsor just wanted to cheat on Hannah, he could have had a mistress in those three years he was abroad, but he didn’t. He didn’t sleep with Hannah after he came back, but he sought out Sophia.

Caspian didn’t believe that Windsor was madly in love with Sophia. He thought there was something about Sophia that compelled Windsor, something unusual.

“Atlas, did you just say that Sophia tricked you into her room and tried to seduce you?” Henry suddenly asked.

Atlas had a bad feeling. He quickly stepped aside, afraid to answer and worried that Henry would put him in a dangerous situation.

“Since she seduced you, it means you have some allure to her. Why don’t you just go along with it and see how you feel after sleeping with her?” Henry said.

Atlas’s heart sank. “Henry,” Atlas looked at him in disbelief. He couldn’t believe that Henry actually wanted him to sleep with Sophia. It was no different from sending him to death. However, he had just escaped a grave danger.

Chapter 495 (continued)

“Why don’t you go yourself! She’s tried to seduce you before. Just the other day, weren’t you two practically glued together? You couldn’t even pull yourselves apart!” Atlas retorted.

Every fiber of Atlas’s being resisted the idea. The thought of “sleeping” with Sophia was unthinkable. He feared it would be his end.

Unbeknownst to them, there was a surveillance camera in front of the Magic Entertainment agency, and their car windows were not closed. Everything they said was captured by the camera.

“Are all the Bennetts this strange?” Clarence said after a long silence. He couldn’t believe Henry asked Atlas to sleep with Sophia to see if she was special. That was something no normal person would say, let alone to their family members.
