Chapter 548

A fan lay injured and seemingly lifeless. We were at Magic Entertainment, and we asked Odalys for help. She's a kind woman, unassuming and immediately responded to the emergency. "She didn't put on any airs," the injured fan said, a hint of pride in her voice. She hadn't been Odalys's fan before, but now she felt a connection.

The other fans watched Odalys intently as she approached, knelt beside the injured fan, checked her pulse, and whispered, "Dorian, please get my medical kit." The fan's chest injury prevented movement, necessitating the kit's retrieval.

"Everyone, stand back and don't block the light," Celeste said urgently.

A dozen fans quickly formed a protective circle, maintaining a respectful distance from Odalys and ensuring clear access to the injured fan. In the live broadcast, viewers watched with bated breath as Odalys examined the wound, tearing away the fabric. A puncture wound was evident, bleeding profusely.

"Wow, who is that woman? Her aura screams elegance and wealth!" someone exclaimed, noticing Celeste. Celeste, in a dark green evening gown, her hair half-up, and wearing light makeup, exuded an undeniable grace despite her simple attire.

"She looks like a wealthy woman, maybe the wife of a rich man," one viewer commented. "Her aura is incredible. Odalys's friends are all beautiful and graceful."

The live broadcast audience expressed their admiration for Odalys and Celeste, but some voiced concerns.

"Hold on, isn't the point that someone was hurt, and Sophia is responsible? Is the price of unfollowing her death?"

"Right! Was Sophia trying to kill everyone who unfollowed her? How lawless! Is there no surveillance? Call the police!"

Outrage filled the live broadcast. Viewers ranged from young fans to adults, professionals, and older people—all appalled by the incident.

"Sophia hurt her fan, and Odalys has to clean up her mess. It's ridiculous!" some of Odalys's fans commented angrily.

At that moment, Dorian arrived with the medical kit.

"Open it," Odalys instructed, her hands already stained red from the fan's bleeding chest. She didn't seem to notice.

Dorian quickly opened the kit. Odalys took a scalpel and made an incision, causing confusion among the onlookers. They thought she was saving the fan, but she made another cut.

"Why another cut? She's not dead yet! There's no need for an autopsy!" a terrified fan screamed, watching more blood flow.

To their shock, the girl, who had stopped breathing, suddenly gasped and began coughing.

"Don't move," Odalys whispered. The chest injury had trapped air, causing suspended animation. The second incision released the trapped air.

"O-Odalys?" the fan asked, dazed upon awakening.

Ignoring the fan's questions, Odalys swiftly disinfected, stopped the bleeding, and dressed the wound. Within minutes, the bleeding was controlled.

"Can you move?" Odalys asked. The wound, though initially serious-looking, wasn't deep and didn't require hospitalization.

"Yes," the fan replied as Odalys helped her sit up.

The dozen fans watched in stunned silence. They had thought she was dead, but Odalys's quick actions had saved her.

"The wound isn't too deep. Be careful about your diet, avoid getting the wound wet to prevent infection and inflammation. See a doctor tomorrow for a dressing change if you're worried," Odalys advised. The injury was similar to Atlas's, but less severe; a stab wound rather than a deep laceration.

The fan hadn't expected Sophia to attack her fans in broad daylight; she shuddered to think what might have happened at night, alone.

"Thank you," the fan said, tears welling in her eyes.

Odalys smiled and waved, saying nothing more.

"Sophia hurt me. I'm calling the police," the fan declared angrily.

Odalys, while hearing this, chose not to interfere. She believed in karma; the fan's past actions as a Sophia fan had contributed to this incident.

"I'm no longer a fan of Sophia," the fan stated to the live camera.

Dorian, silently packing the medical kit, followed Odalys. Celeste followed suit, and they entered Magic Entertainment.

The fans remained outside for some time before calling the police. The police, after investigating, took everyone to the station for questioning.

"How dare Sophia hurt someone in the street, especially her own fan!" Celeste exclaimed, shocked. She didn't fully understand fandom's complexities but was shaken by this incident, following her daughter's near-fatal experience.

Calling the police proved futile; security cameras hadn't captured the event, and the numerous people who had checked the girl's condition had left fingerprints, obscuring Sophia's.

"Her body is covered in fingerprints; mine are on the bandage, so Sophia's are gone," Odalys explained quietly, revealing why she'd remained silent earlier. It wasn't coldness, but a recognition of the limits of her intervention.

"I see," Celeste said, finally understanding.
