Chapter 611

Zachery had initially intended to plead for Tulsi's mercy, but he now recognized the futility of such an action. He thought, "Not only did Tulsi participate in human trafficking, but he also drugged and defiled those girls. I can't believe this man before me is my brother-in-law."

"Stellan, take him away," Odalys commanded, lifting her chin.

Stellan nodded. Tulsi attempted to shout for help, but Francis swiftly stuffed his socks into Tulsi's mouth. Despite his struggles, Stellan and Francis forcibly dragged him away. Zachery watched, a conflicted expression on his face, finally turning away, feeling uneasy.

"This is your wife's karma," Odalys explained. "All her troubles stemmed from her brother's actions. Frankly, he sold your wife. Otherwise, how could Oliver have succeeded so easily? If you want to ensure your wife and child's safety, avoid his affairs. Otherwise, your child's well-being may be jeopardized. Children are remarkably perceptive, even in the womb. If not handled carefully, the child's distress could lead to a miscarriage." She spoke kindly, but firmly.

Observing Zachery, Odalys sensed his goodness, yet also saw how his wife had often dragged him down. She also perceived his numerous acts of kindness.

"Thank you! I will keep that in mind. Fortunately, you were here; otherwise, I wouldn't know my entire family had been betrayed by that ingrate," Zachery said bitterly. He added, "I never expected the person I kindly supported would turn against me."

After their conversation, Zachery left to attend to other matters. Odalys made a call, and Henry soon arrived, visibly agitated and sweating profusely.

"Odalys!" Henry gasped, panting.

Odalys instructed, "Atlas and Caspian are in room 602. Take them back to the Bennett family and prevent further trouble."

"Why are they here?" Henry asked, clearly surprised.

Odalys ignored his question and departed. Henry, wanting to follow, was stopped by a Stewart family bodyguard. Recognizing the man's imposing presence, Henry desisted.

The bodyguard led Henry upstairs. A scream erupted from inside the room. "Ah!" Atlas screamed, scrambling to his feet and colliding with Caspian, knocking him onto the sofa.

"I want to go in!" Atlas roared.

Caspian kicked him, shouting, "Calm down!"

"He's inside me! I feel terrible, Caspian, help me!" Atlas cried, seemingly losing control, feeling as though something was forcibly controlling him, trying to enter Caspian's body.

Atlas and Caspian wrestled. Henry's face darkened.

"Have you had enough of this?" Henry snapped coldly.

He and the bodyguard intervened, dragging Atlas and Caspian downstairs and into a car. Driving toward Bennett Villa, Henry noticed Atlas and Caspian's unnerving silence, a stark contrast to their previous behavior. Looking in the rearview mirror, he saw them staring intently at him, their gazes unsettling.

Henry felt a prickle of unease. They were his younger brothers, yet they seemed unfamiliar. He dismissed it as overthinking, but remained flustered.

He parked outside Bennett Villa. Before he could exit, Atlas and Caspian opened their doors and rushed toward the villa.

Edie, sitting outside, sipping coffee, sensed something amiss upon seeing them. She pulled on her coat, her heavy makeup failing to conceal her exhaustion. She'd felt an oppressive weight since returning from the East District villa the previous night, a feeling that persisted despite a night's rest.

"They probably fought," Henry explained casually.

He was about to enter when Edie grabbed his arm. Henry frowned, his face gaunt and worn from recent worries. His personality, however, seemed tempered and smoother. Looking at Edie's aged face, he found himself wondering about their relationship and its longevity. He mused, "To curry favor with the Simpson family? But I don't even get close to them. I've never even seen Edie return to the Simpson family! I sometimes wonder if she even is a member. If she is, why did the Stewart family suddenly cast her out?"

"Did you go see Odalys?" Edie asked, her eyes icy.

Henry flung her hand away in disgust. "What does it matter to you whether I see Odalys or not? You still want to threaten me with the Simpsons? Or do you want Quinton to kill me again? I, Henry Bennett, have nothing left to lose. I'm not even afraid of death!" He'd found a new-found courage.

"You—" Edie, unprepared for his sudden change, was speechless.

Enraged, Edie threw her coffee in his face and smashed the cup on the ground. The cup shattered. Her fists clenched, her fingernails digging into her palms.

"If you dare contact Odalys..." Murderous intent flashed in her eyes. Henry sneered, lunging forward, and tackling her into a tree. "Ah!" Edie cried out.
