Chapter 610

Freya felt his gaze and goosebumps erupted on her skin. She tried to turn away, but Selah stepped in front of her, pushing her behind Odalys.

"Did your sister ever buy insurance?" Zachery asked quietly, visibly suppressing his anger.

"Yes, she did," Tulsi replied. "She bought a few policies from me when I worked at the insurance company to help me meet my quota." His smile faltered, his eyes darting nervously.

"Is that so?" Zachery said coldly.

Tulsi met his icy gaze with a flicker of displeasure. He lit a cigarette, leaning back and looking casually at everyone. "What? You're telling me what my sister can and can't buy?"

Tulsi saw Francis turn to look at him as he finished speaking. Meeting Francis's gaze, Tulsi paled, his lips moving silently. He wanted to speak but couldn't, his body stiffening as he instinctively recoiled.

"Surprised to see me?" Francis asked abruptly.

Tulsi stumbled backward, but Stellan blocked him from behind. Before Tulsi could react, Stellan grabbed a hemp rope and swung it, tying him up. Tulsi was bound when he regained his senses.

"What are you doing? Zachery, what are you doing?" Tulsi yelled, his voice laced with nervousness. He struggled, but Stellan kicked him to the ground. Stellan then threw a stack of documents at Tulsi's face. The A4 paper cut his cheek, the pain sparking fear in his eyes.

"Isn't it simply that Zachery discovered you intended to use your sister to get close to him, then kill his entire family to seize their property?" Stellan asked. The Drake family, being in business, naturally had an extensive network of contacts. Stellan contacted the Drake Corporation directly after discovering Tulsi's involvement. With Dangelo and Sienna's help, he quickly uncovered everything about Tulsi. He was slightly late due to printing documents.

"What do you mean?" Zachery asked, quickly picking up the documents and glancing at them. Francis and Freya also examined the documents, their shock evident.

Odalys said coldly, "Tulsi has the look of death. He must have killed someone. If I'm not mistaken, he had contact with the Simpson family after his business failure. Recently, many girls have gone missing from Crownridge, never reappearing after their parents sold them. Tulsi, your brother-in-law, contacted these families who favored sons over daughters—negotiating a price, brainwashing the parents to sell their daughters for money, earning thirty percent commission. Am I right?"

Tulsi's face contorted. It seemed Odalys had seen through his secrets. He was undeniably panicked.

"You're talking nonsense! I don't know what you're talking about. Don't try to frame me, Odalys Stone, do you think you can frame anyone because you're so smart?" Tulsi stammered, his panic evident.

He had done all this secretly, fully armed when contacting families who preferred sons. Even face-to-face, they might not have recognized him.

Odalys stated, "It doesn't matter whether you're framed or not. The point is, you radiate a deadly aura. Those girls have followed you since their deaths, because you were the one who killed them. The villa where you met them has been sealed; they have nowhere to go, so they can only follow you. The dead betrayed you. Did you feel a chill on your back last night? You felt cold but hot when you put on clothes, finally removing your coat when the coldness vanished upon arriving here?"

The more Odalys spoke, the more terrified Tulsi became. As she described, he recalled countless pairs of eyes staring at his back last night.

Odalys continued coldly, "They don't dare approach you because I'm here, so the coldness on your back disappeared. But you've done many evil things. You tried to scheme against your sister and then against Francis. There's a price to pay for taking money to do others' dirty work."

Zachery, enraged by Odalys's words, stepped forward and fiercely kicked Tulsi. "I didn't expect you to be involved in human trafficking and murder. I felt sorry for you before! I thought you were struggling and wanted to help you. You didn't even spare your sister and her unborn child!" Zachery sighed in exasperation. He had been happy to help Stellan and the others, but never expected the investigation would lead to Tulsi.

"No, I didn't! She's lying to you. She must be trying to find a scapegoat! Kenny, you have to save me!" Tulsi panicked, knowing exposure meant certain death.

Odalys said coldly, "Zachery can't save you. You're already dead. You've driven yourself to a dead end! After your business failed, you weren't at a dead end, but you got involved in these things and killed so many people. Your good fortune is blocked; there's no turning back." His targeting of an unborn child was especially unforgivable.

"It's not like that. I just took some money; I didn't kill them myself," Tulsi argued weakly.

Odalys sneered, looking down at him condescendingly. "Do you think I would have come here to arrest you if you weren't involved? After those girls were sold, did you drug each one before they died, rendering them insane and unconscious? After taking their innocence, they knew nothing afterward, thinking they were hallucinating, even grateful for food and clothing. In fact, you are the most heinous criminal."

Selah, overcome with rage, turned and slapped Tulsi repeatedly. "You disgusting scumbag! I'm going to beat you to death!" The hatred felt like a fire burning inside her. No one intervened until she was exhausted, at which point Freya stepped in to hug her.

"Odalys, if he committed these crimes, I have nothing to say. You can deal with him as you see fit," Zachery said, hardening his heart.
