Chapter 483

“Hey there, sweetheart. You know who’s been causing you all that trouble? It’s Fleur! You probably know her, right? She’s the boss’s sister. She got him to have you kidnapped and planned to have a few guys have their way with you, all while recording it. She wants to use the video to blackmail you. Apparently, she wants you to do something for her son.”

The ringleader leered at Calliope, licking his lips. “It’s been a long time since I had a lady. Now that I’ve been honest with you, how about you cooperate, huh?”

He reached out, thinking he could easily pull Calliope into his arms. But he found himself tugging at what felt like an immovable object.

Calliope, despite her slender frame, stood her ground effortlessly. No matter how hard he pulled, he couldn’t budge her an inch.

The disbelief was clear on his face, and his buddies sniggered at his futile attempts. He was a hulking figure, nearly three hundred pounds, and he couldn’t believe he couldn’t overpower one small woman.

He tried again, putting his full weight into it, but Calliope remained unfazed. Her lips curled into a knowing smirk.

“So, it’s Fleur, is it? She wants my help and thinks she can set me up and threaten me?” she asked, her gaze fixed on the men around her. “Where is she? Take me to her!”

“Hey, babe, you forgetting our little arrangement here?” one of the men chimed in. “Weren’t we gonna have a bit of fun first?”

Calliope feigned a moment of realization. “Oh, right, I forgot to give you guys a good time!”

Her smile turned wicked. Just as the men got a little too excited, she swiftly grabbed the ringleader and flipped him over her shoulder.

The massive man went flying, crashing with a heavy thud on the other side. The sound echoed, and his friends were stunned into silence.

“Holy cow! This chick! How’s she so damn strong?”

The man groaned from the ground, the impact so hard it seemed to crack the concrete.

Calliope held his arm in a vice-like grip, her smile never wavering. “Hey, big guy, was that fun? Want to go again?”

“You crazy woman!” he howled, wincing in pain, feeling like his bones were shattered.

“Get her, now!” he yelled at his companions.

The others snapped out of their shock and charged at Calliope. Surrounded, she remained calm, quickly swinging the grounded man like a ragdoll, sending him crashing into another. The unfortunate target was flung backwards in terror.

Another attacker lunged, but Calliope leapt into the air, kicking him back with a force that sent him sprawling. Her movements were precise and fluid. Not one of the five men stood a chance against her. In mere moments, each was thrown to the ground, groaning and battered.

“Stop, please!”

“Let us go!”

“We made a mistake!”

“We were just following orders, Ms. Jewell, please, give us a break!”

“Yeah, yeah, it wasn’t our idea!”

Calliope planted her foot on the ringleader’s chest. “Now, can you take me to her? I’m sure she’s waiting for me!”
