Chapter 336

Sienna had her sights set elsewhere, but Josiah frowned and quickened his pace. "Josiah," a light, high-pitched voice called from behind.

He turned to see Yvette approaching, still in costume. Charles trailed behind her. "Yvette," Josiah frowned. "What are you doing here?"

"Just here for work," Yvette replied, grinning at Charles.

"Mr. Flynn," Charles chimed in, "Yvette is doing me a favor. She's filling in for a couple of scenes."

Yvette explained, "I got a last-minute call from Mr. Carter. You know how it is—I couldn't say no. Luckily, I'm free." Before her trip to Lacustria, she'd put all her projects on hold and hadn't scheduled anything upon her return.

Josiah nodded. "That makes sense."

"Mr. Flynn," Charles said, extending an invitation, "we're wrapping up for the day. The crew's going to dinner, and Yvette will be there. If you don't mind, join us."

"Sure, why not," Yvette interjected enthusiastically. "Josiah, I'll go remove my makeup. Just wait for me, okay? It's settled!"

"Alright," Josiah agreed, feeling he couldn't decline.

As soon as Yvette left, Josiah searched for Sienna, only to find she'd vanished. He wondered, Where did she go? Did she run away the moment she saw me?

A soft, hesitant voice interrupted his thoughts. Josiah lifted his gaze to an unfamiliar face. "Who are you?"

"Um…" Maggie's expression tightened as she forced a smile. "Mr. Flynn, I'm Maggie, an artist from East Entertainment."

"Oh," Josiah finally remembered Zach mentioning her. He nodded but had no intention of lingering.

"Mr. Flynn," Maggie continued, "are you looking for Sienna?"

Josiah raised an eyebrow. "You know where she is?"

"Yes," Maggie nodded, lifting her bag. "Sienna's in the bathroom. She… doesn't feel well. I brought her something."

"Doesn't feel well!" Josiah's frown deepened. "What's wrong with her? What's bothering her?"

"Don't be nervous," Maggie quickly waved her hand. "Sienna is…" She bit her lip, adding quietly, "…on her period. I brought her supplies."

Josiah understood. Sienna's period explained her hasty departure. He recalled her usual painful cramps and knew she must have been uncomfortable. He urged Maggie, "Go on, don't keep Sienna waiting."

"Alright, Mr. Flynn," Maggie smiled. "I'll head in now!"

Inside the restroom, Sienna took the supplies, thanking Maggie. "Thanks!" She was surprised; she felt nothing. Normally, she'd have cramps beforehand, but her recent acupuncture treatment seemed effective.

Once finished, Maggie was still waiting. "Sienna," Maggie called, approaching with a cheerful smile. "They've finished up and are going to dinner. Let's hurry!"

"Yes," Sienna replied.

Outside, the crew's vehicles were lined up. Josiah's Bentley stood out. Leaning against the car, he spotted Sienna emerging. He waved. "Sienna, here!"

Sienna frowned, hesitant to approach. But Maggie, excited, pulled her along. "Mr. Flynn is calling you! Come on, let's ride with him!" Sienna was half-dragged toward the Bentley.

Just then, Yvette appeared, costume changed. She smiled softly at Josiah. "Sorry for the wait. Taking off the costume is always a hassle." She casually walked to the passenger seat, sliding in.

Sienna halted. Maggie frowned, grumbling, "Wasn't Mr. Flynn here to pick you up? Why is Yvette getting in?"

Sienna shrugged nonchalantly. "Guess I can't ride in the Bentley. I'll take the crew van." A crew van was nearby. "Excuse me, can I ride in this one?"

The young driver, blushing, stammered, "Please, get in."

"Thanks," Sienna smiled, calling to Maggie, "Over here! Hurry!"

"Alright, I'm coming!" Maggie replied.

They dined at Xako, arriving quickly. As Sienna stepped out, her foot stumbled. "Watch out!" A hand caught her. Startled, Sienna thanked her savior. "Thank you so much!"

"No problem!" the driver smiled.

"Are you okay, Sienna?" Maggie rushed to her side. "Be careful! Why are you in such a hurry?"

Sienna chuckled. "Let's just get inside."

Meanwhile, Josiah stepped from the Bentley, noticing the scene. Who was that guy? Why was he so familiar with her?

Yvette joined him. "What are you staring at?"

"Nothing…" Josiah mumbled, averting his gaze. "Then let's get inside."

Inside the hall, Josiah scanned for Sienna. Yvette waved her hand in front of his face. "Are you daydreaming? What's got you so distracted?" She pointed. "Mr. Carter is over there. Let's go."

"Yeah," Josiah finally followed her to Charles' table. He spotted Sienna in a corner, chatting with Maggie, lost in their own world.

Someone greeted him. Once seated, Josiah remained distant, half-heartedly conversing while watching Sienna. Her corner table was sparsely populated, and her coworkers treated her with a certain delicacy. Everyone noticed Mr. Flynn's arrival, but it seemed he was there for Yvette.

Whispers circulated: "Has Sienna fallen out of favor?" "Fallen out of favor or not, who can really say? But who is Yvette? She's got both Flynn brothers wrapped around her finger. Can just any beautiful woman take her place!" "Mr. Flynn is just looking for something new," and finally, "Plus, he's a guy—got needs, you know? Haha…"
