Chapter 120: Epilogue 1

Weeks Later.

Fresh tears welled in Cole's eyes the moment he saw the love of his life, walking down the aisle with Debbie's mother. Their family and close friends grinned, and their sons were seated in the front row with Ami and Moore. Cole couldn't believe the day he'd long dreamed of was finally here.

It was a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with beautiful decorations. Seeing Hailey a few steps away, Cole bravely sniffed, a beautiful smile remaining on his face.

Debbie's mother, Aura, handed Hailey's hand to him. "Take very good care of my daughter. May the Almighty bless you both, and may your happiness last forever."

"I will, and Amen, thank you!" Cole responded.

Aura nodded and left.

"My love, you look breathtaking," he whispered, leaning close. "I wish I could eat you up right now."

Hailey blushed. "You look so good too. I would have died of jealousy if you were marrying someone else."

"I can say the same, my love," Cole said, gazing at her with adoration.

He led her to the officiant, and the ceremony began. Soon, it was time for their vows. Jess, Cole's best friend, presented the ring. Cole took it, reached for Hailey's hand, positioned the ring, and looked deeply into her eyes as he began his vows. He paused, sighing to clear his teary eyes, then chuckled before continuing. "You mean everything to me, Hailey. We've been through so much, and I'm glad we're here. I would always choose you, the woman of my dreams and the mother of my children, even in my next life."

"Thank you for sharing this day and taking this step with me toward forever. You are everything I've ever wanted, and I promise to be faithful to you."

"As long as I am still breathing, I will do all that it takes to always make you happy."

"I promise to always be there for you, my baby. I promise to cherish you and make you smile always. It's you and me against the world, my love. Till death do us part."

Cole slipped the ring onto her finger, kissed it, earning loud applause. Debbie passed the ring to Hailey, who, smiling, began her vows. "I'm so grateful life has blessed me with a man like you. I couldn't have asked for a better husband and father for my children."

"You are amazing, Cole. You are everything I could ever ask for, and I'm so lucky to call you mine. I look forward to spending forever with you."

"I promise to be faithful, to shower you with love, to be your best friend and forever cheerleader. I love you so much, Cole, and I'm happy to take this step to forever with you," Hailey said, placing the ring on his finger, to loud cheers.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Cole smirked, circled his arms around Hailey's waist, pulled her close, and kissed her. The crowd cheered.

After the ceremony, they took pictures for over thirty minutes.

"Congratulations, Hailey Matthis. I'm so happy and proud of you. May your happiness last forever!" Debbie hugged her best friend.

Hailey giggled. "Thank you, my love."

"This dress looks gorgeous on you," Debbie said.

"Of course, it's my day," Hailey shrugged.

"You haven't stopped smiling since you woke up. I love seeing you happy, and I pray your happiness lasts forever."

"Thank you. I have the perfect husband and good friends like you. What more could I ask for?"

Debbie grinned. "No, you're the one with a good heart, and after all you've been through, you deserve this happiness. I can't wait for Cole to see you in your reception dress. He's going to go crazy again."

Hailey blushed. "He can't wait to take this dress off me."

Debbie laughed. "I can imagine. You'll be pregnant every year!"

"No, no, no," Hailey shook her head. "Three kids for now."

Everyone retired to their hotel rooms, then proceeded to the reception hall three hours later. The reception lasted late into the night. The newlyweds retired to their presidential suite. Hailey immediately hugged her husband. Cole smiled, hugging her back. "Thank you for all you do for me," she said, sniffling. Cole pulled away, tilting her chin to look at her teary eyes. "I'm a man of my word. You come first, and I will always do everything in my power to treat you like the queen you are."

Hailey smiled. "How did I get so lucky?"

"No, I'm the lucky one. Ready for your gifts?"

She nodded, grinning.

Cole intertwined his hand with hers and led her to the adjoining closet. The smile on Hailey's face widened at the sight of nine designer gift packages on the counter.

"This is too much, Cole," Hailey mumbled.

"No, it's not," Cole said, kissing her shoulder. "They're all important, but I want you to open this first." He handed her a medium-sized gift bag.

Hailey opened it, revealing a jewelry box and an envelope. She opened the envelope first; it contained a receipt.

"No way!" she exclaimed.

He shrugged. "Anything my baby wants, she gets."
