"You look good."

Hailey shook her head. "You took the rest of my energy. I'd rather go to bed now."

Cole smiled. "It's fine. I'll tuck you in."

"My love?" he called to her.

Hailey slowly opened her eyes. "Me?"

"Thank you for coming on this trip with me. I promise to make it worthwhile."

The next morning, Hailey awoke to a full bladder. Cole was sleeping soundly beside her. She watched him for a minute, then carefully disentangled herself, got out of bed, and went to the bathroom.

She quickly returned. Cole was still asleep, so she got her phone, took something from a box, and quietly left the room.

Hailey went downstairs to the kitchen. She blushed, seeing her and Cole's clothes scattered everywhere. She gathered them and took them to the laundry room.

She then checked the refrigerator. To her surprise, it was full of food, drinks, and baking supplies.

Hailey wasn't sure what to do, but she put on an apron, washed her hands, and decided to bake something before making breakfast. She found cake decorating supplies in the drawers.

She smiled at the finished cake and took it to the dining table. She returned to the kitchen and made everyone's favorite breakfast. She quickly cleaned up, set the table, and placed her gift on the table.

Cole frowned when he awoke to find himself alone.

"Babe?" he called out, his voice hoarse. There was no answer.

He got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He knocked: "Hailey?" Getting no answer, he opened the door and went in. He used the bathroom, brushed his teeth, and quickly left.

He almost went to the twins' room but changed his mind and went downstairs instead. He followed the delicious aroma to the dining room.

The table was perfectly set for four, with breakfast, a cake, a gift bag, glasses, wine, and juice.

Hailey returned to the dining room and saw Cole. She smiled, approaching him, happy he had come down.

"Happy birthday, Baby." She tiptoed and kissed him.
