Chapter 96

Hailey put on a spaghetti-strap mini-dress. She shook her head. Cole placed his glass of wine on the table, brought his hand to her right shoulder, and slowly pulled down the strap, revealing her cleavage. He saw her blush.

“You love this, don’t you?”

Hailey blushed even more. “It depends.”

“On what, my love?” Cole turned his attention to her other shoulder and pulled down the strap. Half of Hailey’s breast was now visible.

“If it involves us.”

Cole nodded. “I love it when you don’t wear a bra.”

She smiled. “I don’t wear them at home.”

“I can’t wait to be a part of your home.” She saw the sincerity in his eyes.

“You are my home, Cole.”

Cole nodded, pushed her dress down further, revealing her breasts completely. “You wear the perfect dress.”

Hailey blushed. She watched as Cole picked up the glass of fruit wine and poured some onto her nipple. Just before the liquid could roll off, he brought his lips to it and latched on.

With her hands on the marble countertop, Hailey threw her head back, her eyes closed, enjoying the pleasure. Cole had one nipple in his mouth while he continued to play with the other. Hailey bit her lower lip, trying to stifle her moans. Her home wasn’t soundproof, and she didn’t want to wake the boys, who were light sleepers.

Cole wanted to tease her further, but he was so aroused he couldn’t wait to be inside her. The counter position was perfect; it seemed built for their pleasure. He moved Hailey closer to the edge and parted her legs. He felt a surge of pride when he saw she wasn’t wearing panties.

Hailey’s heart beat faster when she saw the man she loved most in the world take off his pants and his penis become erect.

Cole guided his penis to her entrance, gently pressing his erect penis against her wet vagina, eliciting a loud moan from Hailey.

“You like that?”

“Mine…”

“Yes, baby, it’s all yours.” Cole hugged her, slowly entering her. He increased his pace once she adjusted to his size, whispering sweet words in her ear as he made love to her.

Cole lifted Hailey from the counter, bent her over the edge, and spanked her buttocks, slowly entering her. After a while, noticing her legs were shaking, he withdrew and carried her bridal-style into the bedroom.

Hailey giggled as his penis poked her buttocks. She wondered how he managed not to fall, since he hadn’t pulled up his pants.

They reached the bedroom safely, and Cole gently placed Hailey on the bed. He removed his pants, climbed onto her, and continued where they left off. They continued until they both reached climax. Cole rolled over, pulling Hailey close as she caught her breath.

Cole kissed her forehead and placed his hand on her belly, slowly caressing it.

“I should have been more careful, don’t you think?”

Hailey adjusted herself to look into his eyes. “Why do you say that?”

“The baby? I don’t want to hurt either of you. I planned to take things slowly, but I got carried away. I’m sorry.”

Hailey smiled. “Why do you look so nervous?”

“I couldn’t forgive myself if I hurt you or the baby.”

“There’s nothing you could do to hurt me, Cole.”

“But the baby. It’s still so small.”

“Okay, I’m tempted to ask.” Hailey touched her chin, looking directly into Cole’s eyes, a smile still on her lips. “What did you learn in your research?”

Cole shrugged shyly. “That this period is crucial, and you need extra care. No stressful activities.”

“Okay, did you see anything about sex being good for the baby?”

“I think so, but I don’t think it’s wise to be rough with you.”

“Nothing you do can hurt me, Cole. And I’d like us to enjoy all the sex positions we can, because we’ll be limited once I start showing.”

“Okay.” He touched her cheek, caressing it. “Just let me know if I’m going too far.”

She nodded.

“Were you this horny when you were pregnant with the boys?”

Hailey blushed, looking away.

“I want to know. Please.”

“My pregnancy with the twins wasn’t easy. Honestly, I spent most of it crying, feeling miserable, even thinking I’d made a terrible mistake not aborting when I found out.”

“I battled many insecurities, mostly about being a failure and a terrible mother. Debbie and her mother fed and cared for me. I had no job, no savings, and two babies on the way.”

“Did you ever think of coming to me for help?”

“No. Even Debbie wouldn’t let me. At that point, we all hated you and felt you’d never want anything to do with us.”

“Despite the hardships, I won’t deny there were times I felt horny.” Hailey chuckled. “It was annoying, though. I got a toy, but it never felt like the real thing.”

“It was such a tough time. I thought happiness wasn’t for me, but I was determined to give my children a good life.”

“I’m grateful for my present. And I couldn’t be happier to have you by my side.”

Cole was about to speak when Hailey interrupted. “If you’re about to apologize for the past, don’t. You already apologized, and I forgave you. We’re together now. That’s what matters.” Hailey adjusted herself and gave him a quick kiss. Cole didn’t let her go. He deepened the kiss, but before they could get carried away, Hailey’s phone rang. She reached for it on the nightstand.

She looked away from her phone and at Cole. “It’s Jess.”

“She must be worried. Tell her my phone’s broken.”

Hailey nodded, answered the call, and put it on speaker. “Hi, Jess.”

“Hailey, have you heard from Cole?” They could both hear the worry in her voice.

“Yes. He just got here. His phone’s broken; that’s why you couldn’t reach him.”

“Is he there with you?”

“Yes. You’re on speaker.” Hailey answered.

“What the hell, Cole? Why do you have phone problems now?”

“It’s a long story. Sorry I worried you,” Cole said.

“Your PI has been trying to reach you, so he called me.”

Cole sat up, moving closer to Hailey, who was holding the phone.

“Did he find anything?” Cole’s heart began to beat faster.

“He found Vanessa in a terrible state.”

Cole frowned, glancing at Hailey. “What do you mean? Where’s Connie?”

“Vanessa was found unconscious and bleeding on the floor of an abandoned apartment. Nobody knows where Connie is.”
