My day couldn't have been better. Damon took me on a yacht date—it was incredibly fancy and romantic. I didn't even know he owned a yacht! After our spectacular date, we came home and had some of the best sex we'd had in a while. It felt like a promise from him—a promise to change for the better and make me happy. I didn't know how long my happiness would last, but as I lay in his arms, his body heat warming my bare back, all I could think about was how much I loved him. He scooted closer, and I giggled when he buried his nose in my neck. I could feel how aroused he was.

"You don't know how much I want to be glued to you," he murmured. I giggled before turning to face him. "Me too. When will I be addressed as your Luna?" I asked. He kissed me. "Tomorrow I have an important meeting, so how about the day after? It seems I'd have to make you my Luna before marrying you again—because you're already my wife, and nothing can change that," he murmured. I smiled, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. That night, Damon and I talked endlessly. I didn't want the night to end. As much as Damon promised to make me happy, I sensed a storm brewing; I just hoped we could survive it.

I fell asleep quickly. When I woke, Damon wasn't beside me. I slowly opened my eyes, frowning at his absence. I sat up and was about to call out his name when I saw him standing before the mirror, fully dressed in a navy blue suit, his hair slicked back. He smelled incredible. I took a moment to admire how handsome he looked.

"Good morning, dear wife. Do you like what you see?" he asked, without turning. I could hear the smugness in his voice.

"I always like what I see," I replied. He chuckled, turning to me. Goddess, I still couldn't believe this hunk was my husband. He walked toward me, and I opened my arms wide. He chuckled, climbed into bed, and hugged me tightly.

"You're so sexy, baby. I wish I could just stay in your arms like this and have you whenever I want," he murmured. I moaned; it sounded so good.

"You don't have to wish. Stay here with me," I murmured with a pout. He sighed. "I really wish I could, but I've been postponing this meeting for too long. I promise I won't be long and will be back in your arms before you know it," he murmured. The way he held me, I knew he didn't want to leave.

It was surprising how, no matter how much sex we had or how long we spent together, our hunger for each other only intensified.

"Okay, but you can't take too long, okay? I'll be waiting for you," I murmured. He smiled, crashing his lips onto mine. I kissed him back with equal hunger, grinding against his already hard penis.

"Baby, please," he pleaded, letting out a strained groan. I reluctantly pulled away, and he sighed as he did the same. "I'll be back before you know it, okay, baby?" he murmured. I nodded, pouting, and sighed as he left, closing the door. I was about to cry when he barged back in, removing his tie. "The meeting can wait a few more minutes. I need to taste you," he said hurriedly. I giggled as he walked toward the bed and pounced on me.

Soon, Damon had to leave, and, as always, loneliness descended. I decided to stay in bed all day and wait for him when my phone rang. I groaned, reaching for it.

"Hey, Delilah," I murmured.

"I miss Luca so much," she whined, and I pouted. We dramatically cried about missing our respective partners. After we calmed down, Delilah suggested a girls' date to take our minds off the boys, and I immediately agreed.

As soon as I hung up with Delilah, Damon called.

"I've been trying to call you, but your line was busy. I was worried," Damon said before I could speak. I smiled. "Oh, I was on the phone with Delilah. I miss you," I murmured, and he sighed. "I miss you too. The meeting has started. I'll be home before you know it. I can't be on the phone during the meeting, but I'll keep texting you, okay?" He hung up, and I got ready to go to Delilah's. As promised, Damon immediately started sending messages about how much he couldn't wait to be with me again. To say I was happy was an understatement; I was ecstatic. I felt like I was walking on cloud nine.

I was finishing dressing and styling my hair when I heard a knock.

"Who is it?" I called out.

"It's Alicia. Can I talk to you?" she asked. I tensed, frowning.

"I have nothing to say to you. You tried to insinuate I poisoned you, so no, I don't want to speak with you," I said.

"I know, and I just want to apologize. Please, can we talk? I won't leave until you do," she said. I sighed, thought it over, and reluctantly walked to the door. As soon as I opened it, Alicia fell to her knees, and my eyes widened.

"Alicia, what… Please don't stop Damon from talking to me. I need him…"

It also replaces some overly informal language with more suitable alternatives while retaining the overall tone. The use of asterisks to indicate a break in dialogue is retained as it's unclear if it's intentional or a formatting issue from the original text.
