Chapter 153

โ€œI just saw Mr. Hunt drawing a lot a minute ago, didnโ€™t you?โ€

โ€œOh my god, this is wild. But honestly, with Mr. Huntโ€™s personality I really didnโ€™t think heโ€™d be the type to join a game like this.โ€

โ€œExactly! I heard his company held a teamโ€“building event once, and it was a huge deal that he actually showed up. All the women in the company were thrilled. And guess what? He showed up and then slept the entire afternoon.โ€

โ€œSounds about right. He doesnโ€™t seem like someone whoโ€™d enjoy this kind of thing.โ€

Rachel was curious too. She couldnโ€™t believe Tyler was actually joining the game.

Suddenly someone shouted again. โ€œMr. Hunt is in Group 2!โ€

The crowd instantly became excited again.

โ€œWhoโ€™s in Group 2? Iโ€™m so jealous!โ€

โ€œOh no, now I really want to be in Group 2.โ€

โ€œMe too! Can we switch?โ€

โ€œI think so. Iโ€™m gonna ask Rachel. Sheโ€™s easyโ€“going.โ€

โ€œMe too, Iโ€™ll go.โ€

In an instant, Rachel was surrounded by people. All of them were holding their slips and trying to trade with her.

โ€œRachel, can I trade with you?โ€

โ€œRachel, if you trade with me, Iโ€™ll do any data work you need.โ€

โ€œSame here. Our whole department will support you first and foremost.โ€

โ€œRachel, I just came back from overseas and bought some amazing chocolate. Iโ€™ll bring you some if youโ€™ll trade!โ€

Rachel didnโ€™t really mind switching teams, but there was just one problem. She held up her own slip. โ€œIโ€™d love to trade, but I only have one.โ€

โ€œGive it to me!โ€

โ€œMe! Pick me!โ€

โ€œName your price, anything you want, Iโ€™ll do it!โ€

Rachel was genuinely unsure who to give it to.

Cecilia tugged at her arm. โ€œYouโ€™re not seriously thinking of trading with them, are you? Come on, everyoneโ€™s dying to be on Mr. Huntโ€™s team and youโ€™re going to give that up?โ€

Rachel shrugged nonchalantly. โ€œItโ€™s not a big deal.โ€

Cecilia leaned in and studied her face. โ€œWait, are you immune to hot guys or something?โ€

Rachel had to admit that Tyler was attractive, but the moment he opened his mouth, he could shut down a whole room. She didnโ€™t have the mental strength to deal with someone like that.

She gave a polite, neutral smile. โ€œHeโ€™s alright.โ€

Just then, Tyler walked over. His expression was calm and cool. โ€œRules say no switching teams.โ€

โ€œAww.โ€

Chapter 153

A collective sigh of disappointment echoed from the crowd.

Rachel raised her hands with a helpless smile. โ€œWell, thereโ€™s nothing I can do then.โ€

The crowd that had swarmed her quickly dispersed.

The gameโ€™s rules were simple. Everyone had to stand on a preโ€“marked circular pad. No oneโ€™s feet were allowed to touch the ground outside of it. If anyone in the group stepped off, the entire team would be disqualified.

The pads were only big enough to fit three to four people standing closely together, but each team had about eight members. To make it harder, everyone had to get to a pad marked with a specific color.

Just listening to the rules made Rachel tired. She really didnโ€™t want to participate, but she had no choice because it was mandatory.

Someone from the company, older and unable to join the game, was assigned to act as referee.

โ€œAlright, everyone gather with your groups and start discussing your strategy. Youโ€™ve got five minutes. Iโ€™ll give the signal after that.โ€

The energy in the other teams was high. Everyone wanted that generous prize.

โ€œHereโ€™s the plan. Stack in tight, press in, and whoever can hug someone, do it. Forget everything else. Winning comes first.โ€

Tyler stood beside Rachel with his arms crossed. He leaned forward slightly to whisper in her ear. โ€œAre you dumb?โ€

Rachel gave him a sideways glance. โ€œHuh?โ€
