Listen to this chapter:

William was ready to flare up, but the moment he saw the person inside, he and Samantha stood dumbfounded. Rachel wasnโ€™t in the bathroomโ€”it was Yvette.

Thankfully, Yvette was already fully clothed. Despite that, she couldnโ€™t help but yelp when she saw William.

โ€œWilliam! Whyโ€ฆ why didnโ€™t you knock?โ€

William was stunned into silence; it took a while for him to recover from his shock.

โ€œWhat are you doing here?โ€ he asked.

โ€œI came to see Mr. Hunt. What are you doing here?โ€

Yvette walked out of the bathroom.

Samanthaโ€™s feet were rooted to the ground. She opened her mouth, stuttering, โ€œWโ€“Whereโ€™s Rachel?โ€

โ€œShouldnโ€™t you call her if youโ€™re looking for her?โ€ Yvette asked as she dried her hair with a towel.

The shock William and Samantha felt from seeing Yvette there was comparable to seeing Rachel and Tyler in the same room. Before they could ask Tyler and Yvette for an explanation, they heard a commotion outside. Hordes of paparazzi rushed up to them, pointing their cameras at Tyler and Yvette, snapping pictures of the two.

The bright flashlights made Yvette raise an arm over her eyes, yelping in surprise.

โ€œWhatโ€™s going on? Who allowed you people to barge into private property like this?โ€ she cried.

The reporters, however, ignored Yvetteโ€™s exclamations and continued snapping away with their cameras for fear of missing a detail.

Heated discussions ensued.

โ€œWasnโ€™t there supposed to be something between Mr. Lewisโ€˜ wife and Mr. Hunt? How did it turn out to be Ms. Yvette Lloyd?โ€

โ€œI even heard that Ms. Yvette Lloyd has been meeting Mr. Hunt in private. They just havenโ€™t made things public yet. So itโ€™s true?โ€

โ€œThere must have been a mistake somewhere! Itโ€™s clear whatโ€™s going on now, and it looks like it has nothing to do with Mrs. Lewis.โ€

โ€œI told you back then, didnโ€™t I? Her back view looked like Ms. Yvette Lloydโ€™s!โ€

The reporters pointed their microphones at Tyler and asked, โ€œMr. Hunt, was the lady you were seen with at the bar the last time Ms. Yvette Lloyd?โ€

With an arch of his brow, Tyler asked, โ€œHavenโ€™t you already seen it for yourself? Why bother asking me?โ€

The reporters nodded their heads pensively before posing another expected question.

โ€œWhen we asked you about it before, why didnโ€™t you just admit that it was Ms. Yvette Lloyd?โ€

Tyler rubbed his nose bridge. โ€œWeโ€™re just dating right now. Is there a need to make it public?โ€

His gaze swept coldly across the reporter who raised the question.

โ€œAre you reporters really that bored? All of you are so concerned about my private affairs, trying to capture photos of everything I do. As for the photos you guys secretly snapped of me last time, please go back and tell your bosses that they have to at least show some appreciation to me. I wonโ€™t allow my photos to be taken without some kind of compensation in return.โ€

The reporters exchanged glances.

Chapter 266

Everyone knew how insolent and unbridled Tyler was in his speech. He never cared for anyone.

Despite knowing that, the reporters were still shocked to hear him speak with such impunity and so unabashedly.

No matter how much of a bigwig one was and how displeased and upset one was toward the media, none could be as outrageous in his comeback as Tyler.

Demanding compensation from their bosses?

The reporters were stumped and speechless.

Tyler yawned; fatigue etched in his eyes, he said irritably, โ€œAre you guys done? Iโ€™m going to retire for the night.โ€

The reporters had no choice but to leave, all too embarrassed to continue filming.

Before William and Samantha could try to sneak off, Tylerโ€™s voice rang coldly behind them.

โ€œWhat did I say just now? Do you two have problems with your hearing?โ€

Samanthaโ€™s body stiffened. She shot William a pleading look, her face paling. โ€œWilliamโ€ฆโ€

William hurriedly pulled Samantha behind him.

โ€œMr. Hunt, she was just trying to find Rachel just now. She didnโ€™t mean any harm. Plus, if you had told us the truth when we asked you about it earlier, this misunderstanding wouldnโ€™t have happened.โ€
