Chapter 383

At that instant, everyone turned toward the doors of the conference room.

Tyler stepped in, dressed in a custom-tailored black suit and a crisp white shirt. His sharp, chiseled features, cold and piercing gaze, and thin lips gave off an untouchable air of authority. His entire presence exuded a refined and aloof arrogance that made the room feel tense the moment he walked in.

It was William who finally broke the silence. He sounded noticeably stiff.

โ€œMr. Hunt, what brings you here?โ€

Tyler casually twirled his phone between his fingers, the sleek device spinning in smooth arcs. Outside the room, several female employees couldnโ€™t take their eyes off him.

โ€œHow can someone look that good? Mr. Hunt is so hot.โ€

โ€œEven his hands look good!โ€

โ€œTrue, but heโ€™s kind of intimidating. When he walked in just now, the pressure in the air shifted. His presence is unreal!โ€

Rachel froze for a split second. She hadnโ€™t expected Tyler to show up hereโ€“he was never one to join in on drama.

Tyler was the kind of man whoโ€™d sip coffee without blinking even if people started fighting next to him.

His hands tucked in his pockets, Tyler scanned the room with sharp, hawk-like eyes full of disdain. He then pulled out a chair like he owned the place and dropped into it leisurely.

โ€œIโ€™m getting old. Thought Iโ€™d join the fun and see how a room full of grown men gang up on a woman.โ€

Everyone present knew Tyler didnโ€™t play by the rules. Even Howard, who feared no one, once said Tyler was the only person he would never dare mess with.

Tyler didnโ€™t sugarcoat things. He called it like he saw it, and the entire room fell deathly silent.

He casually rested one leg on the table, leaning back in his chair like he had all the time in the world. His gaze swept across the room,

โ€œDonโ€™t mind me. Keep going.โ€

The shareholders exchanged anxious looks.

โ€œUhhโ€ฆโ€

โ€œHow are we supposed to keep going like this?โ€

โ€œWho invited him?โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re asking me? I have no idea!โ€

Yvette instantly tensed up when she saw Tyler. The previous incident had left quite the psychological scar on her. She still couldnโ€™t forget that cold, cutting look he gave her. Just thinking about it gave her chills.

Nervously, she tugged at Sashaโ€™s sleeve and whispered, โ€œMom, what do we do now?โ€

Sasha, more seasoned and composed, glanced at Tyler and whispered back, โ€œWhat do you mean, what do we do? Just because heโ€™s here, we back down? Iโ€™m telling youโ€“if we let this go, Rachel wins. And if that happens, weโ€™ll never get a say in this family again.โ€

Yvette took a deep breath and clenched her jaw. She turned back to Rachel and pressed on.

โ€œRachel, just tell the truth already. The longer you drag this out, the worse itโ€™s going to be for you. Mr. Lewis has already shown the video, and the police have been called. If you keep pretending, youโ€™re only digging your own grave.โ€

Rachel stood firm and turned to face William. He thought this would finally break her down, but not even a hint of submission could be found in her gaze.

โ€œYou really think you can condemn me with a video that doesnโ€™t even have sound? Thatโ€™s not just careless. Itโ€™s absurd,โ€ she sneered.

One of the shareholders chimed in coldly, โ€œYouโ€™re not part of the Lloyd family by blood. Strictly speaking, you have no right to a share of the Lloyd familyโ€™s assets. Even if Mr. Lloyd agrees, the rest of us donโ€™t.โ€

โ€œExactly! This company wasnโ€™t built by Jim Lloyd alone. We have been here from the start.โ€

โ€œAnd even if the will holds up and you end up owning the largest share, what exactly can you contribute to this company?โ€
