If the outcome wasn’t to his satisfaction, Tyler wouldn’t buy it either way.

What’s more, this woman was bullying his woman. All the more reason he couldn’t take it lying down.

Just then, Yale walked over to hand him a document. When he saw Samantha, respect and admiration for Tyler filled his eyes.

Tyler was always capable of predicting what would happen. How did he know that Samantha would come here and that she would cause Rachel trouble?

He had texted Yale beforehand to investigate matters.

Now, this document was going to be put to good use. Samantha only had herself to blame for knocking on Rachel’s door.

Tyler approached William with the document in hand. Never one to mince his words or beat around the bush, he asked William directly, “If I remember correctly, your wife was pregnant before, right? Then, she had a miscarriage.”

William looked at Tyler in shock. “How did you know that?”

“You got into an accident, and that was how she lost her baby. You even wanted to divorce her at that time, right? But you eventually gave up on that because of her miscarriage.”

William knew Tyler well–he wouldn’t bother wasting his breath, so there must be a reason he was saying all these things.

“What do you know about that incident?”

Tyler handed William the document. “You’ll get the idea once you read this.”

William was about to take the document when Samantha tried to snatch it away.

Tyler, however, seemed to know what was coming and raised the document high right before she pounced on it.

Her behavior made her look even more guilty.

Tyler looked at Samantha’s ashen face. “Why are you overreacting? I never told you what’s inside the document. Why are you so anxious to grab it?”

Samantha was stunned. She glanced at William, panic-stricken. “I…”

Her expression suddenly changed and she shrank back, as though triggered and deeply hurt by Tyler’s words. She lowered her head, tears still hanging on her lashes, trying to look strong yet pitiful.

“Tyler, why must you break us apart like this? Don’t you like Rachel? We can each be with the one we like, right? Or does Rachel still like William, and you’re willing to break me and William apart just to make Rachel happy? Is that the case?”

Rachel was stunned by Samantha’s conjecture.

Once, Rachel used to think Samantha was just pretentious, and that her only goal was to be with William. Who knew that aside from acting innocent, her acting skills had improved by leaps and bounds?

It truly disgusted Rachel.

Tyler pursed his lips, ignoring Samantha’s accusations. “Take a look at it, William. You can look into it yourself if you have any doubts.”

Ignoring Samantha’s objections, Tyler handed William the document.

William’s face changed as he read the content. He turned to look at Samantha with bloodshot eyes, the veins on his throat popping.

Disregarding everyone else there, he started yelling at her.

“You even schemed against me with your child? Samantha, tell me! What else are you hiding from me?”
