Chapter 947

Seeing Rachel, Jacqueline immediately stood up and approached her with a smile.

“Rachel! You’re finally here! We thought we had to wait even longer.”

She surveyed Rachel from head to toe, a look of appreciation filling her eyes. “This gown is fabulous. It looks even better than we imagined it to be!”

“Mr. Hunt was the one who contacted us,” Leroy said with a smile. “Last month, Mr. Hunt added us on social media and invited us to your wedding. He even asked about the timing and said he wants to give you a surprise.”

Rachel turned to look at Tyler, joy and gratitude brimming in her eyes.

Tyler held her hand tenderly. “I know you miss them, so I contacted them. They were very happy to come and even arrived here a few days earlier to celebrate with you.”

“Thank you, Tyler.” Rachel couldn’t stop her tears from falling. For some reason, she had been crying more after getting pregnant.

The wedding celebrations began amidst the fragrance of osmanthus flowers.

Thomas stood on the stage as the witness to their union. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked at Rachel and Tyler standing below the stage. “Tyler is finally getting married! He was always single, and I even thought he swung the other way.”

William held Thomas, bitter regret filling his heart as he watched Rachel walking down the aisle with his uncle.

It was only upon witnessing Tyler and Rachel get married that he finally managed to let go of his feelings. He failed to give Rachel a beautiful wedding, but someone had taken his place to do it.

Warm applause sounded below the stage. Rachel and Tyler looked knowingly and lovingly into each other’s eyes.

As they exchanged rings, Tyler held her hand gently and slipped the ring onto her ring finger.

“I’ll give you two the best from now on.”

“I trust you,” Rachel said with a blissful smile on her face.

After the ceremony, Tyler deliberately chose not to let Rachel follow him as he went from table to table to toast his guests. She was pregnant and often felt unwell, making it inappropriate for her to participate in such a strenuous activity.

All the relatives and friends present at the wedding understood.

Rachel sat with her colleagues and friends, with Cecilia sitting next to her with her two children in tow.

Cecilia kept spooning food onto Rachel’s plate. “I’ve been to so many weddings and I’ve never seen a bride as relaxed as you are. You don’t even need to go table to table!”

Rachel smiled and teased, “Shall I introduce you to someone? You might be able to enjoy such treatment in the future, you know?”

“I want someone handsome. Don’t introduce someone ugly to me,” Cecilia said with a smile.

Jacqueline held Rachel’s hand and said gladly, “I feel reassured seeing how happy you are. You’re always taking the brunt of so many things at work. I’m glad to see that you’re finally on the receiving end of love and care from someone else.”

“Yeah. Mr. Hunt looks so reliable, you can just sit back and relax from now on,” Charles said as he handed Rachel a gift box. “This is a gift we prepared for you and your baby. There are some baby essentials inside, which we took a lot of time to pick out.”

Rachel received the gift box, a warm feeling crossing her heart. “Thank you. Your presence here is the greatest gift to me.”

The wedding ceremony drew to a close as the sun set.

At night, Tyler brought Rachel back to their apartment, where he asked her, “Are you pleased with the wedding today, Mrs. Hunt?”

“Yes, thank you for resolving the regret I’ve always felt,” Rachel said.

She wrapped her arms around Tyler’s neck and planted a kiss on his cheek.
