Yvette stood there, completely stunned. Almost without thinking, she looked at Rachel.

"What's really going on? You never told me beforeโ€“he has issues with his orientation?"

Rachel froze, not sure how to answer. If she couldnโ€™t figure this out, the situation with her motherโ€™s grave would get even more complicated.

Also, she never expected Tyler to say he liked men.

She looked at Tyler. "What are you talking about? Since when do you like men?"

Tyler shifted on his toes, a playful smirk flickering at the edge of his mouth. His sharp jaw moved as he spoke clearly. Rachel caught the cold glint in his eyes as he mocked her.

โ€œOh? You think you know my orientation better than I do? Have you ever tried?"

Rachelโ€™s cheeks burned bright red. She hadnโ€™t tried anything with him, but she had seen it. She remembered the last time she was druggedโ€“Tyler had reacted then. If he really liked men, he wouldnโ€™t have reacted.

He was doing this on purpose.

Yvette was standing close, so Rachel couldnโ€™t say much. She leaned in and whispered in Yvetteโ€™s ear, โ€œYouโ€™ve always wanted to marry into a rich family, right? Tylerโ€™s family is even stronger than the Lewis family. If you ended up with him, whoโ€™d dare talk behind your back? Think about that!โ€

After hearing Rachelโ€™s words, Yvette started to feel tempted again.

When she heard Tyler liked men, she had almost given up. After all, she was young and beautifulโ€“she couldnโ€™t be with someone who had โ€œissuesโ€ like that. If she stripped naked in front of him and he didnโ€™t react, that would just be humiliating.

But Rachelโ€™s words made sense, too. Lewis Enterprise used to be the biggest company around, but in the last two years, it had fallen far behind LS Enterprise.

Tylerโ€™s wealth had become unimaginable years ago. William? Yvette didnโ€™t even want to think about him.

Yvette took a deep breath. After thinking it over, her delicate face brightened with a smile once more.

โ€œMr. Hunt, sorry for overreacting just now,โ€ Yvette said. โ€œThese days, liking men is totally normal. We could just be friends!โ€

When Rachel heard that, she felt her tightly furrowed brow relax a little.

Tyler swirled the half-full glass in his hand with his long, defined fingers, watching the two women with calm amusement. A quiet chuckle escaped him.

โ€œYou two sisters are putting on a show for me, huh?โ€

Rachel caught the sarcasm in his voice.

โ€œMr. Hunt, your family probably pressures you about marriage, right? Instead of a stranger, why not pick someone you already know? I know my sister well. Sheโ€™s a good person.โ€

Rachel didnโ€™t care about the truth anymore. She just made it up as she went. Whether Tyler ended up with Yvette or not, if they got together, she could finally push the old man to move her motherโ€™s grave sooner. Then, her motherโ€™s spirit could rest in peace.

Tyler set his glass down on the table and suddenly grabbed Rachelโ€™s arm, pulling her aside. Rachel was worried that Yvette might get upset and run off, so she quickly waved and said,

โ€œIโ€™m just going to talk to Mr. Hunt alone for a moment. Wait here for me.โ€

Tyler pulled Rachel into the hallway, and she kept trying to convince him, โ€œMr. Hunt, youโ€™re looking for someone anyway. Choosing my sister isnโ€™t a bad idea.โ€

Tyler watched Rachel like she was some kind of salesperson. He put his hands in his pockets, leaned in a little, and his dark eyes locked onto hers.

Rachelโ€™s heart suddenly shrank, and she took a quick step back without even thinking.
