When Anastasia and Cassian got near the office, Anastasia had him stop the car and got out.

Yinsen turned to look at Cassian. “Dude, did you do something to piss off Anastasia? Is that why she doesn’t want to go public with you?”

Yinsen’s words were like a knife straight to Cassian’s heart. “Fuck off!” he snapped.

Anastasia took the elevator upstairs to the design department. As soon as she walked in, she noticed everyone staring at her with complicated expressions. She couldn’t quite read what they were thinking.

Sharlene immediately rushed over when she saw Anastasia return, grabbing her arm and whispering urgently, “Ana, we’ve got a problem. Something bad happened.”

Something bad? What kind of something?

Seeing Anastasia’s confused expression, Sharlene realized she had no idea what was going on.
