Chapter 1174

โ€œAurora, what should we call the studio?โ€

Megan scrolled through her phone, her expression caught somewhere between thoughtful and frustrated. โ€œHonestly, ever since you mentioned starting one, Iโ€™ve been brainstorming names, but nothing feels right.โ€

She sighed, clearly exasperated. Megan really was hopeless when it came to naming things.

โ€œI havenโ€™t figured it out either. Iโ€™ve just been throwing myself into the idea of actually starting the studio.โ€ Aurora mirrored her friendโ€™s conflicted look.

In the end, both of them had been tripped up by something as simple as coming up with a name.

Megan kept swiping on her phone, unwilling to give up.

They both knew how important a name wasโ€“it could make the studio stand out, draw attention, and set the tone for everything that followed.

Just as the two were at an impasse, Auroraโ€™s phone lit up with a call from Ian.

She picked it up.

โ€œMiss Aurora, Iโ€™ve handed in my resignation.โ€

Hearing his voice on the other end, Aurora blinked in surprise. โ€œDidnโ€™t I tell you to wait a little longer?โ€

She hadnโ€™t expected him to act so quickly.

The studio wasnโ€™t even off the ground yet. What if this hurt Ianโ€™s income in the meantime? Working at Walton Corporation had at least given him stability.

But Ianโ€™s voice was firm with determination.

โ€œMiss Aurora, I want to grow alongside you. Please donโ€™t turn me away. I know the studio isnโ€™t established yet but just being able to work with youโ€“thatโ€™s all Iโ€™ve ever wanted.

โ€œI want to watch it rise step by step, and I want to be part of every single one of those steps.โ€

Auroraโ€™s chest tightened, her heart softening.

Of course sheโ€™d been right about him. Even now, he was thinking about her studioโ€™s future first.

โ€œAlright then, I just hope you wonโ€™t regret it.โ€ Auroraโ€™s voice was steady.

โ€œIโ€™d never regret it.โ€

Ianโ€™s reply came firm and serious through the line. โ€œMiss Aurora, Iโ€™m not joking. At this point, I mean every word.

โ€œIโ€™ve worked under you at Walton Corporation for so longโ€“you know exactly what kind of person I am. Iโ€™m a man of my word. Since Iโ€™ve decided to follow you, I wonโ€™t hesitate. Weโ€™ll go all in, together.โ€

Aurora pressed her hand to her forehead, a small sigh slipping out.

โ€œDonโ€™t worry, Ian. I wonโ€™t let your trust go to waste. Butโ€ฆ right now, I actually have a problem.โ€

Ian froze on the other end. If Aurora couldnโ€™t solve it, then it had to be something bigโ€“something difficult.

โ€œMiss Aurora, tell me,โ€ he urged earnestly. โ€œIf itโ€™s something I can take on, Iโ€™ll go through fire and water for you.โ€

Even so, he wasnโ€™t certain. If this was beyond Auroraโ€™s reach, how could a small fry like him possibly fix it? Still, he meant every wordโ€“heโ€™d try with everything he had.

Aurora couldnโ€™t help a laugh, both touched and exasperated. Clearly, Ian had misunderstood what she meant.

Megan, nibbling on her dessert, glanced curiously at Aurora. Who exactly was she talking to with that expression?

The next second, Aurora saved her the suspense.

She switched the call to speaker and said matter-of-factly, โ€œIan, Iโ€™m with Megan right now. Sheโ€™s going to be my business partner in the studio.

โ€œThe problem weโ€™re stuck on isโ€ฆ we donโ€™t know what to name it. And since youโ€™re joining us too, Iโ€™m handing this one to you.โ€

Please let us know if you find any errors, so we can fix them.
