Chapter 1175

Hearing that, Ian was silent for a long moment.

He had been bracing himself for some serious, unsolvable problem, only to realize it was just about picking a name. He hadnโ€™t expected that.

โ€œMiss Aurora, I didnโ€™t think leaving Walton Corporation would make you this witty,โ€ Ian teased lightly now that the two of them were closer, more like friends.

โ€œIโ€™ve always been this way,โ€ Aurora replied easily. โ€œYou just never noticed before. At the company, of course I had to keep up appearances.โ€

โ€œAlright then.โ€ Ianโ€™s tone turned thoughtful. โ€œMiss Aurora, may I askโ€“whatโ€™s your best friendโ€™s name?โ€

โ€œSheโ€™s Megan,โ€ Aurora said, puzzled. โ€œWhy do you want to know that?โ€

Ian sounded almost conspiratorial. โ€œWell, since the studio will be the two of you working together, the name should come from both of you.โ€

Megan instantly waved her hands. โ€œNo, no, no. Aurora, the name shouldnโ€™t have me in it. Youโ€™re the one who came up with this, youโ€™re the one working hard. Iโ€™m just tagging alongโ€“it wouldnโ€™t be right.โ€

โ€œHow is that not right?โ€ Aurora looked straight at her. โ€œWeโ€™ve been friends since childhood. That bond means more than anything. Orโ€ฆ are you saying it doesnโ€™t matter to you at all?โ€

โ€œOf course not!โ€ Megan shot back without hesitation. โ€œYouโ€™ve always been the most important person to me. Iโ€™ve wanted to share everything with you. In my eyes, youโ€™ve been family all along.โ€

Aurora felt a rush of warmth at her words. She had always known, of courseโ€“but hearing Megan say it out loud was different. It struck her in a way that couldnโ€™t be ignored.

She had been right about Megan. Together, they really could build something strong.

โ€œThen there you go.โ€ Aurora smiled. โ€œIf weโ€™re family, why fuss over the name? This is our studioโ€“yours and mine.โ€

โ€œButโ€ฆโ€ Megan still hesitated.

She had always thought of herself as nothing more than a slackerโ€“never the type to dream about starting a studio. Most days, her only goal was just getting by. But now everything had changed. Aurora had pulled her onto the right path, and Megan didnโ€™t even know what to say anymore.

Ian, listening from the other end of the line, caught it all. He could tell just how deep the bond between the two women ran. And with that kind of closeness, there was no need to hesitate.

โ€œMiss Aurora, your name has โ€˜Frostโ€˜ in the middle, and your friendโ€™s has โ€˜Clear,โ€ Ian mused after a moment. โ€œWhy not call it Frost & Clear Studio? It represents the two of youโ€“like twin souls side by side.โ€

Auroraโ€™s eyes lit up at once. She turned to Megan, and the two shared a look of mutual satisfaction. Aurora couldnโ€™t help but laugh softly.

โ€œNot bad, Ian. I didnโ€™t think you had a knack for naming things. Maybe I should consider pushing you into another line of work.โ€

Ian rubbed the back of his neck, embarrassed. โ€œYou flatter me, Miss Aurora. It just came to me, really. The truth is, your names fit together perfectly- thatโ€™s what makes it sound so good.โ€
