At his words, the secretary nearly collapsed to her knees.

“All right, since it’s your first offense.” Daniel cleared his throat. “Get it sorted and tell her I’ll be available tomorrow.”

She stood up, but her legs gave way, and she fell straight into his arms.

Daniel caught her easily, her softness pressed against him, his body heating at the contact.
