All he had to do was wait, and everything would come to him. As long as nothing too drastic happened, the company would be his in the end.

But after all this time, he still hadn’t made much progress. He knew that too. That was also why he kept dragging things out with Judy. Because if he agreed to something and couldn’t follow through, it would only hurt how she saw him. That wouldn’t do. But after hearing everything Judy had said, Joseph finally understood that whether or not he could do it wasn’t the point. What mattered was trying. That alone was important. As long as he was willing to put in the effort, the rest would come. He needed to believe in himself. He couldn’t let down his father or Judy. After all this time, was he still going to be stuck in the same place? He was the heir to the Hunt family—he had money and power. All he needed was the right platform. With that thought, Joseph felt a new wave of confidence. Even the way he carried himself around the office changed. He greeted employees with a broad, easy smile. The change didn’t go unnoticed.
