Chapter 88

With just one kick, Isabella sent Molly flying. She slammed hard onto the floor, emitting a loud scream.

“Mom!” Ivana was terrified and immediately glared at Isabella with anger. “Is…”

But before she could finish, Ivana also fell, crashing right back into Molly, who was just trying to get up! The pig-like screams made those who were smashing things stop dead in their tracks.

OMG! Mrs. Howerton was so bold! If they were to fight her, they probably wouldn’t stand a chance.

Isabella let out a cold chuckle, standing there leisurely. “Some low-class guys, what right do they have to criticize me?” she said.

Hudson gritted his teeth in frustration. The sharp pain in his hand was sobering, yet he was too caught up to worry about Molly and Ivana. Instead, he stared intently at Isabella and demanded, “Who exactly is that man Cameron ended up like this because of?”

Otherwise, none of this mess would have happened.

Isabella’s gaze was as chilling as death as it fell on Hudson. “You don’t deserve to know,” she said.

Hudson’s expression changed. “You–” The noise of things being smashed around them grew louder, cutting off Hudson’s words.

Isabella turned and headed towards the living room, casually picking up a sledgehammer handle and dragging the heavy hammer toward the large floor-to-ceiling window.

Seeing things were going south, Hudson shouted sharply, “Isabella, don’t you dare.”

Isabella laughed, “Are you out of your mind? I’ve been smashing things all this time. Haven’t you noticed I’m not afraid at all?”

“You…you…!” Hudson was so furious that his eyes almost popped out. He trembled, unable to say another word. Isabella swung the heavy hammer and smashed it hard against the stair railing. A heavy sound echoed.

The wooden railing shattered instantly, and the crystal chandelier above the stairs crashed down with a loud crash. That chandelier was worth 1.5 million dollars or more.

Hudson felt his vision darken and stumbled back a few steps. Melly quickly stepped forward to support him, and said, “Darling…”

Isabella stood before the broken glass, backlit, but her voice was a chilling warning: “Because we’re family, I won’t kill you, but if there’s a next time…”

As she continued, Isabella’s voice suddenly rose; her piercing words made everyone’s heart tremble, and they stared at her in shock. Then, with her lips moving deliberately, she declared, “Hudson, I want! Your! Life.”

She threw the sledgehammer onto the floor with such force that it left a deep dent and gave out a loud noise.

But that was not the end. Isabella commanded again in a low voice, “Smash everything to pieces! Leave nothing untouched.”

“Got it,” they answered.

Isabella turned to leave but stopped at the door, glancing back coldly at Hudson. “If you don’t want my grandpa and uncle to step in, Hudson, I’d advise you to take this loss quietly, or else…” she warned.

Isabella let out a cold laugh, glanced at the few people still in shock, and walked away. Today, Isabella left a deep impression on the Stout family and the bodyguards she brought along.

After Isabella left, Hudson looked at the mess around him, and his legs gave way as he collapsed onto the floor. Despite her pain, Molly hurried to support him. “Honey, are you okay?” she asked anxiously.

He couldn’t afford to fall now. There was still no news from the Lane family, and Hudson needed to hold the fort.

Even with her face pale, Ivana hurried to Hudson. On each side, Molly supported him. “Dad, don’t get upset, your health is what matters,” Ivana said.

But as they looked around the room, they realized there was nowhere to sit. Everything was smashed to pieces.

The two women helped him to the stairs, where Ivana quickly fetched a first-aid kit. She sprayed some bruise and sprain relief on Hudson’s wrist, which was swollen like a balloon.

Hudson let out a pained cry from the excruciating pain in his wrist, “Ah…go easy, it hurts.” This startled Ivana, making her hands tremble a bit.

Ivana apologized, “Sorry, Dad, I’ll be more gentle.” She was frustrated inside but didn’t dare to say anything, while Molly was already calling the family doctor.

Hudson pointed angrily toward the villa’s front gate and shouted, “That ungrateful girl! One day I’m going to get rid of her!” This was outrageous! Hudson was so furious that he felt somewhat dizzy.

Ivana couldn’t stop crying and softly complained, “Why does my sister act like this? It’s bad enough that she’s not helping the family, but now she’s even sending people to break things.”

Ivana was still shaken by Isabella’s fierce demeanor from earlier; she even thought for a moment that Isabella was really going to kill her.

Molly’s heart was pounding as she recalled how Isabella had flipped the dining table with her bare hands. “She used to be so quiet, but recently, her personality has completely changed.” She not only single-handedly took down a group of bodyguards, but today she also boldly brought people back to trash the place.

Hudson frowned, sensing that there was something truly unusual about the situation. He thought, “Is there really someone backing her?”

Hudson looked at Ivana, asking curiously, “Who was the man that saved Isabella back then?” Since Ivana was the only one there at the time, Hudson had to ask her.

Molly was just as curious, “Yeah, was that man the one supporting her?”

Chapter 88

If it wasn’t him, there was no way Isabella could have been so bold. Ivana’s face stiffened. If they knew how impressive that man was, they would probably be eager to please Isabella.

“And what about me…” she thought. Her hand clenched into a fist at her side, but she shook her head, feigning confusion, “I don’t know, but I saw my sister hanging out with him at the bar once.”

Ivana seemed a bit embarrassed, and said, “He might be a club guy Isabella was with…”

“That can’t be possible,” Hudson frowned, finding it hard to believe. If he was just some club guy, she would never have the courage. But the next moment, Molly sighed and said, “She doesn’t necessarily need a guy. Her grandparents…”

At that point, she stopped speaking. Hudson jerked his arm away from Molly’s grasp, his face extremely grim as he shouted angrily, “How shameless!”

Such a troublemaker, it might have been better if she had just died with her useless mother. Molly was getting anxious. If Isabella really went to waste…

She stepped closer to Hudson, looking worried. “Honey, what if the Guzman family steps in… Plus, I heard Isabella’s uncle is very protective.”

Mentioning the Guzman family made Hudson’s eyes turn cold. He snapped, “Why are you panicking?” But his heart sank to the bottom when he remembered. After he married Susannah, the Guzman Group helped him establish the Stout Group.

Thanks to the Guzman family, Hudson had been enjoying quite the benefits over the years. The Guzman family was much more powerful than the Stout family; if it really was the Guzman family making a move, things were going to get quite tricky.

Ivana didn’t know much about the Guzman family, but Molly and Hudson’s reactions suggested that the Guzman family was quite formidable. She gritted her teeth, her eyes filled with jealousy.

Ivana thought, ‘Why is Isabella, that wretch, always better than me? She is really lucky.’ One day, she’d make sure Isabella had nowhere to hide, even in death.

Looking worried, Ivana said to Hudson, “Is the Guzman family trying to take our company?” She said it deliberately to give Hudson a wake-up call.

As expected, Hudson’s expression became even more grim, and he growled through clenched teeth, “They wish!” No one was going to take his company away.

In the CEO’s office of the Howerton Group, Samuel sat at the large desk in his leather office chair, busy managing documents. The next moment, there was a knock on the door. “Come in,” he said.

Perry, wearing a business suit, strode in from outside. He walked up to Samuel respectfully and said, “Mr. Howerton, Mrs. Howerton just led a team and smashed up the entire Stout residence.”
