Chapter 137
"Oh, Colonel Bailey, please stop it!" Cameron quickly wiped away his nosebleed, feeling helpless. Lena's increasingly exaggerated actions sent his heart pounding violently. He knew that if he didn't detoxify her, something terrible would happen.
"Sorry, Colonel Bailey," he murmured, temporarily knocking her out. He couldn't afford to let her continue acting recklessly and risk her losing control.
With Lena unconscious, her frenzied movements ceased. Cameron hurriedly covered her exposed chest with a quilt, taking a moment to compose himself. Drawing a deep breath, he picked up the filiform needle and aimed for six acupuncture points: GV 26, CV 22, PC 6, TE 5, TE 4, and LU 9. As he inserted the needles, the strange flush on Lena's face began to subside. Cameron breathed a sigh of relief.
Seeing her complexion return to normal, he decided to leave. He estimated it would take some time for her to wake up; the drug's effects were too strong, consuming a great deal of her energy. She needed time to recover. As a man, it wasn't appropriate for him to remain.
Noticing her torn shirt, Cameron called Lord Blackheart to send someone with a fresh set of clothes. Once this was done, he felt completely relieved. Looking at the sleeping Lena, he smiled slightly, left the room quietly, and closed the door. Unbeknownst to him, a droplet of his nosebleed had landed on the bed sheet, covered by the quilt.
Fifteen minutes later, Lena blinked awake in a daze. She sat up, massaging her temples to ease the dull headache. Feeling slightly better, she opened her eyes. The unfamiliar environment triggered a wave of foreboding as she recalled her ordeal: she had been drugged by a man, and she was in a hotel!
She tried to get up but felt limp. The drug's lingering effects left her completely without strength. She looked at herself; a quick check revealed a torn collar and almost-exposed chest. Surprisingly, her bra was still on, offering a small measure of relief. She quickly removed the quilt to check—her pants were also on. However, the bright blood on the bed sheet shattered her relief. A cold realization gripped her heart: she had been violated. She had been raped, and the perpetrator had simply dressed her afterward.
"Bastard! You won't get away with this…" Lena muttered through gritted teeth, her body trembling with fury. She looked around, finding herself alone in the room, except for a new set of clothes on the bedside table. This discovery intensified her fury. That bastard had taken her virginity and humiliated her! She vowed revenge.
Although furious, Lena quickly calmed down. She thought of Peggy and Cameron; since she was here, something unexpected must have happened to them. She immediately called Cameron, but he didn't answer. Anxious, she dialed Peggy's number. To her surprise, Peggy answered immediately.
"Colonel Bailey, you're awake!" Peggy's delighted voice filled her ear.
Lena frowned, sensing something was wrong. She quickly questioned Peggy about what had happened. Learning that Cameron had dealt with the gangsters and rescued her, she was struck dumb with shock. Her emotions flared, revealing a strong murderous intent.
"I got it, Peggy. Have a good rest," Lena said before ending the call. The next second, a roar resounded throughout the hotel: "Cameron Morgan, I'll kill you!"
