Chapter 14

"You're just a loser leeching off my sister. What's with the act?" Skyler sneered, watching Cameron's back as he approached the Venizon Cruise. He couldn't wait to see how Cameron would board without an invitation.

Pia, equally eager for a spectacle, anticipated Cameron's humiliation. Without an invitation, he'd be thrown out by the guards in minutes! How dare the loser flaunt himself before them?

They watched as Cameron reached the cruise entrance, where four soldiers stood guard, rifles at the ready, their faces impassive.

"Heh, here we go!" Skyler smirked.

Pia grinned. They expected Cameron's immediate expulsion.

Suddenly, the soldiers lowered their rifles and saluted Cameron respectfully before smoothly allowing him to enter.

Stunned, the pair exchanged bewildered glances.

"Mom did I see that wrong?" Skyler asked Pia incredulously.

"No, Skyler," Pia replied, equally dazed. "What in the world is going on?"

"I don't know," Pia admitted, panic creeping into her voice. Then, an idea struck her. "Skyler, do you think Cameron bribed the guards?"

"That's it, Mom!" Skyler declared, convinced. How else could he have gotten onboard? "Come on, let's warn Madison before that bastard ruins her wedding!"

Pia and Skyler quickly boarded the cruise ship.

Meanwhile, Cameron received a call from Blackheart after entering the ship.

"Sir, have you arrived?"

"Yes."

"I'll pick you up now!"

"No need. I'll explore the ship first and find you later."

"Very good, sir. I'll be waiting."

Cameron hung up and strolled through the cruise ship, the familiar layout and facilities evoking a sense of nostalgia, transporting him back ten years. He soon reached the sixth floor.

Passing the banquet hall, he heard the emcee's enthusiastic voice:

"Today, in this elegant setting, let us witness the union of Archie Price and Madison Parker! Now, let's welcome our bride and groom Bridesmaids, please present the rings A big round of applause, everyone!"

The atmosphere was lively. Outside the hall, Cameron heard Dakota's name and peeked inside. He saw her on stage, a charming bridesmaid in a light-colored dress, her hair loose. He smiled gently and turned to leave; he had no interest in the wedding.

As he was leaving, Madison looked up after receiving her ring and spotted him. Remembering Pia's warning about him ruining the wedding, she was furious.

"Cameron, you bastard! You dare show your face here!" she shouted.

The hall fell silent. All eyes turned to the doorway. Dakota's eyes widened. Could Cameron and Mr. Morgan be the same person?

Cameron sighed inwardly. He couldn't hide it from her.

"You think you can ruin my wedding by bribing guards? You're delusional!" Madison continued, glaring at him with disgust. "That loser!"

"I bribed guards to ruin your wedding?" Cameron asked with an ironic smile. "Your mother told you that, didn't she?"

"Yes!" Madison retorted defiantly.

"Your whole family is so self-righteous," Cameron scoffed, shaking his head.

"What did you say?" Madison demanded.

"Madison, I am not interested in your wedding," Cameron stated clearly.

"Then what are you doing outside my banquet hall?"

"I happened to be passing by," he replied.

"Passing by?" Madison scoffed. "I don't believe you."

"Suit yourself," Cameron said. "If I wanted to ruin your wedding, it wouldn't have happened."

"You're shameless!" Madison sneered. The guests chuckled. One asked, "Ms. Parker, who is this?"

Madison smiled viciously. "He's a dog who used to lick my boots. He latched onto me for five years, then I kicked him out. Now he tries to ruin my wedding!"

The crowd understood immediately. Contempt filled the air. Dakota looked troubled.

"Madison, do you have to be like this?" Cameron frowned.

"What's wrong with me?" Madison's eyes narrowed with hatred. "Do I need to slander you? Are you even worth it?" she sneered. "You like pestering me, don't you? You followed me here. Well, I'll give you a chance. Perform a 'dog act' for everyone. If they're satisfied, you can stay. Consider it a fitting end to your parasitic life."

She turned affectionately to Archie. "Dear, is that alright?"

"Do as you please. What threat could a buffoon pose?" Archie replied sarcastically.

"Cameron, did you hear that? Enjoy this opportunity," Madison said condescendingly.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Cameron's gaze turned cold.

Madison, oblivious to his icy demeanor, said haughtily, "I've given you a chance. Seize it or not, it's your choice."

"Fine. Don't blame me then." Cameron pulled out his phone and called Blackheart. "Cancel the wedding ceremony in the sixth-floor banquet hall." He looked at Madison. "I hereby officially cancel your wedding. Leave now."
