Chapter 15

Cameron's words silenced the banquet hall. The quiet was short-lived, however, as a commotion erupted among the guests.

"Haha! Did you all hear what that brat just said?" "Of course! He said he canceled the wedding!" "Canceled the wedding? Does he think he owns the cruise or something?" "He's putting on a desperate, mad dog show!" "Mr. Zeller, how can you say that? Haha! Hilarious! I can't stop laughing…"

Madison sneered, her disdain evident as she glared at Cameron. "Cameron, don't you think this is childish?"

"I don't," Cameron replied calmly. "Someone will clear this place in five minutes."

"That's enough, Cameron!" Madison interrupted sharply. She couldn't bear to listen any longer. "Who do you think you are, canceling my wedding with a few words? Look at yourself!"

"You have four minutes and fifty seconds left," Cameron countered, counting down.

"Argh!" Madison fumed. "Cameron, that's enough!"

Archie intervened, his voice deep. "My wife is kind enough to let you attend her wedding. Don't be unappreciative."

"Is this a 'chance'?" Cameron sneered.

"Or how else could a loser like you be here?" Archie's contempt was clear.

"Is that so?" Cameron asked, his smile nonchalant.

The smile enraged Archie. "Do you think a word from me will prevent you from ever finding a foothold in Yrando?"

"No," Cameron replied without hesitation.

"Very well!" Archie took a deep breath, his anger evident. He addressed the guests. "Ladies and gentlemen, you've all witnessed this man's arrogance. He threatened to ruin my wedding. I ask for your help in blacklisting Cameron Morgan so he can't survive in Yrando! Of course, I won't ask for nothing. Anyone who helps me today can come to me or the Price family for assistance in the future."

Archie's speech was delivered with an air of authority, a product of his status as one of Yrando's four most powerful scions and the fact that his wedding was being held on the Venizon Cruise, soon to be blessed by Lord Blackheart.

As Archie finished, some guests echoed his sentiments.

"Mr. Price, I find him insufferable! I have banking connections. I can freeze all his accounts immediately if you wish. He'll struggle in Yrando!"

"Thank you, Mr. Lowe. I appreciate it," Archie replied, clasping his hands.

The guests saw an unparalleled opportunity for networking.

"I'm president of a major mobile company's Yrando branch. I'll block his numbers, Mr. Price." "I'm president of the major telecommunications branch. I can block his phone numbers and wireless access." "I'm a shareholder in Yrando's natural gas company. I can cut off his gas." "I'm from the water and electricity company…" "I'm from the power company…" "I'm from the metro and bus company…"

A wave of powerful figures eagerly offered their services. Pia watched, thrilled. This was her son-in-law's influence!

Archie looked at Cameron proudly. "Did you see that? This is what happens when you oppose me."

"Hehe," Cameron merely sneered.

"You!" Archie gritted his teeth. "Excellent! Let's see how a country bumpkin likes being blacklisted!"

Dakota, seeing the situation escalate, tried to intervene. "Mr. Price, let's forget this. Today's your wedding with Maddy. Don't let this ruin it."

Cameron felt a pang of gratitude. He hadn't expected Dakota to still defend him, knowing his identity.

Madison frowned. "Dakota, why are you siding with him? Haven't you seen how arrogant he is?"

"Maddy, I…"

"Enough!" Madison cut Dakota off coldly. She turned to the bigwigs. "Everyone, blacklist him completely, now!"

"No problem, Ms. Parker!" They readily agreed.

Then, the sound of marching feet echoed outside. Dozens of soldiers in black armor, rifles at the ready, appeared at the door. The commotion drew everyone's attention. Shock and horror filled their eyes. It was Lord Blackheart's personal army—the Black Flag Army! The incident had alarmed Lord Blackheart!

"Mr. Price, when did you contact Lord Blackheart?" a bigwig asked ingratiatingly, convinced only Archie could have summoned them.

"Huh?" Archie recovered from the shock. "Haha, just now." He couldn't admit to not knowing. It proved Lord Blackheart took his wedding seriously. His own potential had been approved!

"Dear, you're amazing!" Madison trembled with excitement. This was the best decision of her life!

Pia and Skyler were ecstatic. With Archie's backing, they would control Yrando! Dakota, however, was sweating nervously. The situation had spiraled out of control.

"Cameron, weren't you being pretentious?" Madison smirked. "Now the Black Flag Army is here, what do you have to say?"

"How can you be sure I didn't summon them?" Cameron smiled faintly.

"You!" Madison turned to Archie. "Dear, get the Black Flag Army to throw this bastard into the sea! Let's get on with our wedding!"

"No problem," Archie smirked. He cleared his throat and shouted at the soldiers, "Brothers of the Black Flag Army, throw this troublemaker into the sea!"

The soldiers remained motionless. He repeated the order, his face reddening, to no effect.

Then, a deep, cold voice echoed from outside. The Black Flag Army parted, revealing a tall, imposing man in a black coat—Lord Blackheart. His presence commanded the room.

The room held its breath. All eyes followed Lord Blackheart as he approached Cameron.

Archie and Madison were ecstatic. Lord Blackheart was on their side! They waited for him to rebuke Cameron.

Blackheart, to everyone's astonishment, bowed deeply to Cameron. "Sir!"
