Chapter 146
Leonard and Jane grew nervous. They hadn't expected Ken to arrive so quickly. Madison also looked surprised; she hadn't anticipated his swift response. Archie had called him only moments before, and he was already there. Their relationship was extraordinary.
"Dear, you're amazing!" Madison said, looking at Archie with affection.
"It's a small matter," he replied modestly, though a proud smile played on his lips. It was the power of being one of the Top Four Scions of Yrando.
"Mr. Snyder, we're here!" Archie called out.
Ken frowned slightly and approached them.
"Mr. Snyder!" The waiter, visibly respectful, greeted him.
Ken nodded solemnly. "Zac, what happened here?"
Before the waiter could answer, Madison interjected, "Mr. Snyder, this group caused trouble. They didn't order anything and even asked the waiter to remove us!"
Ken looked at her sternly. Startled, Madison realized he might not know her, and introduced herself: "Mr. Snyder, I'm Madison Parker, Archie's fiancée."
His brow remained furrowed.
Archie stood, adding, "Yes, she's my fiancée. I brought her and her family for dinner, but we encountered someunpleasant people. We had a disagreement." He gestured toward Cameron.
Ken's expression darkened as he recognized Cameron. He realized, with a jolt, that this was the distinguished guest the boss had mentioned—Mr. Morgan! Archie had recklessly provoked him!
Leonard and Jane noticed Ken's grim expression, sensing something was wrong. Dakota paled slightly but bravely explained, "Mr. Snyder, they provoked us! Ask the waiter if you don't believe us."
"No need," Ken replied. He knew how to handle this.
Unaware of Ken's thoughts, Madison and the others looked at Dakota arrogantly. "Did you hear Mr. Snyder?"
Dakota remained silent, biting her lip.
Cameron chuckled. "Don't worry, Dakota. I'm sure Mr. Snyder will be fair."
Ken subtly trembled, though he masked it well.
Madison snickered. "Cameron, are you instructing Mr. Snyder? Who do you think you are, loser?"
Archie sneered. "Mr. Snyder, please remove them! They're ruining our evening!"
Ken thought, Shut up, you bastard! Then, feigning sincerity, he said, "Sir, you're disturbing our most distinguished guests. Please leave with your family."
"Mr. Snyder said get out!" Archie shouted at Cameron, mistakenly believing the instruction wasn't directed at him. After all, he'd called Ken, a friend of his father.
"Are you sure?" Cameron asked, smiling. (Please note: The website promotion has been removed.)
Archie's displeasure grew. "Mr. Snyder, look at his arrogance! Have security remove him!"
"Yes! Get rid of him!" Madison echoed, pretending to be powerful.
Ken's expression darkened. His next words silenced Archie and Madison's arrogance. "I meant you, Archie Price, and your family. Get out."
