A sharp sound echoed in the interrogation room, silencing the atmosphere. Lena was stunned, her body stiffening. After Cameron spanked her, he gasped, realizing his impulsiveness. He shouldn't have spanked her.

"Enough!" Cameron shouted. "If I'd known this, I wouldn't have saved you last night!"

"Saved me? Was that a rescue?" Lena growled. "If that was saving me, I'd rather be dead!"

"I dealt with the gangsters and detoxified you. Doesn't that count as a rescue?" Cameron frowned.

"You detoxified me?" Lena paused, ceasing her struggle.

"Yes, or you wouldn't be here in good condition," Cameron replied, raising an eyebrow.

Hesitantly, Lena looked at him. "You're not lying, are you?"

"Why would I lie?" Cameron looked at her speechlessly.

Seeing his sincere expression, Lena gradually calmed down. Had she misunderstood him? But where did the blood on the hotel sheets come from?

Thinking this, she grew cold again. "How did you detoxify me?"

"With a filiform needle, of course. What else would I use?" Cameron looked at Lena directly.

Her gaze wavered. "What about the blood on the sheets?"

"Colonel Bailey, that was from my nosebleed," Cameron said wryly. "My nosebleed?" Lena was dumbfounded. "Yes."

He chuckled, finally understanding her fury. She must have thought he'd taken advantage of her while she was drugged.

"Really?" Lena looked at him suspiciously.

"Colonel Bailey, we've known each other a long time. If I'd slept with you, I would have cleaned up properly. I wouldn't leave evidence. I wouldn't ask for trouble," he said, smiling helplessly.

Lena blushed. She'd misunderstood Cameron! But why did he have a nosebleed while detoxifying her? He must have seen something he shouldn't have!

Remembering her torn collar, she felt embarrassed. Gritting her teeth, she asked, "Cameron, did you see something you shouldn't have?"

Cameron stiffened, surprised by the question. Lena's face flushed at his reaction. She'd guessed right!
