Madison, a vile-looking woman, approached Cameron, arm in arm with Archie, her mockery blatant. Cameron remained impassive, his expression cold and aloof. His indifference only fueled her contempt.

Cameron ignored them both.

"Heh, Madison, why bother educating him?" Pia echoed disdainfully.

Dakota intervened. "Is red wine with steak the epitome of sophistication in your eyes?"

"And what else would it be? That cupcake?" Madison looked at Dakota contemptuously.

"Cameron likes cupcakes, so what?" Dakota retorted.

"That's why I called him low-class—and you and everyone around him!" Madison sneered.

Dakota's face flushed with rage. "You!"

Lena's eyebrows shot up, her temper flaring. Before she could respond, Cameron calmly said, "Let me see what breed of dog you are, always so eager to follow and bite." He didn't waste time on irrelevant people, but his friends were off-limits.

Lena burst into laughter. Dakota's eyes widened slightly at Cameron's retort.

"Who are you calling a dog?" Madison snapped, her face contorting with anger.

"Who do you think is barking the loudest?" Cameron calmly replied.

Madison was speechless. Enraged, she lunged to scratch his face.

"Stop it!" Lena's sharp voice cut through the air. Madison froze upon seeing Lena, her expression unnatural.

"Colonel Bailey, why are you here?" Madison's surprise was evident. Why would Lena associate with someone like Cameron?

"What, I can't be here? And who did you call low-class?" Lena's eyes were cold.

Madison trembled. "Of course, I didn't mean you I meant Cameron and Dakota. Why are you with them?"

"Do I need to report to you on my associations?" Lena's gaze remained icy. Her next words sent shivers down Madison's spine, making her face pale. "Furthermore, Cameron is now my friend. Be careful how you speak in the future!"
