“Dr. Smith, do you really believe what this kid says?” Mikel frowned, looking at Tara.
“I believe him,” Tara stated without hesitation.
“This is absurd! This is a hospital, not a playground for children!” Mikel trembled with rage. “My authority in the oncology field, combined with the reputation of this top hospital, can't be undermined by this kid's baseless claims!”
Tara was at a loss for words.
“Mr. Kennedy, you want evidence, right? You've always trusted your diagnosis and advanced equipment.
