“Mikel, Dylan Smith is my grandfather. I have the final say in his treatment!” Tara, fueled by anger, addressed him directly. Mikel had previously misdiagnosed her grandfather, and she felt it was absurd that he was obstructing Cameron.

“Without my permission, I'd like to see who dares!” Mikel shouted, ordering the security guards, “Get that kid out of here!”
“Yes, Mr. Kennedy!” The guards moved to comply.
“I’d advise you to stay where you are and not become someone’s scapegoat,” Cameron warned, his eyes flashing.
The guards hesitated, unsure what to do. They sensed some truth in Cameron’s words.
“What are you waiting for? He’s just talking nonsense!” Mikel growled.
“Aren’t you being quite loud?” Cameron frowned. “This is the ICU. As the director, shouldn’t you keep things quiet?”
“That’s because you’re causing trouble here. Just get out…” Before Mikel could finish, Cameron slapped him hard. He glared at the stunned Mikel.

“You… How dare you hit me?” Mikel, holding his reddened cheek, was incredulous. He couldn’t believe he’d been slapped by someone younger.
Cameron ignored him and began treating Dylan.
“Do you dare!” Mikel roared, regaining his composure.
“Are you saying your face wasn’t slapped hard enough?” Cameron asked impassively.
Mikel faltered. He knew he couldn’t overpower Cameron.
“This is a hospital. If you keep this up, I’ll call the police!” Mikel threatened.
“Suit yourself,” Cameron replied, his focus on Dylan.
“Cameron, just focus on treating my grandfather. Even if he calls the police, I’ll take care of it,” Tara reassured him calmly.
Cameron nodded.
Mikel watched, seething. He was powerless, for now. He doubted Cameron’s abilities. If anything went wrong, he could easily disassociate himself and preserve his reputation. He was almost eager to see it happen. “Fine, I’ll leave you to it. But I won’t be held responsible if anything goes wrong with the patient!”
