Chapter 51

Madison's face flushed red as she shouted after Cameron.

"What do you want?" Cameron gave Madison an indifferent look.

"Don't push your luck, Cameron!" Madison's sharp shriek pierced the air.

"Push my luck?" Cameron laughed. He wasn't surprised by her words, however. He knew how spoiled she was and how many people had ignored her behavior. But he wasn't going to let her off this time.

He flashed Madison an eerie smile and said coldly, "Ms. Parker, you're the one pushing your luck. Instead of wasting your breath, I suggest you think up an excuse for Caspian."

"You!" Madison was speechless.

Archie's face darkened, but he didn't dare retort, fearing Cameron would leave. Caspian had made his conditions clear: if Archie and Madison failed to bring Cameron and Dakota back, they would pay the consequences. Caspian wasn't someone Archie could offend.

Archie took a deep breath and turned to Cameron. "How about this, Cameron? Consider this a favor. Come back with us, and let's forget about the past."

"A favor?" Cameron raised an eyebrow. "Who do you think you are?"

"You!" Archie snapped.

Madison, however, had reached her limit. She unleashed a torrent of insults. "Cameron Morgan, you fucking good-for-nothing dimwit! Who do you think you are? How dare you use that tone with my boyfriend?"

"You have no right to order me around," Cameron replied indifferently. "But at the very least, you should know when to swallow your pride and beg."

"You!" Madison raged. "You bastard! You're a nobody! Stop acting so high and mighty!"

"So what? You're still the ones begging me," Cameron mocked.

Madison gritted her teeth, ready to yell, but Archie stopped her. He knew arguing would be useless.

He approached Cameron, hands clenched into fists. "I'm sorry. Madison and I were too impulsive. Please accept our apology."

"What? Speak up. I can't hear you." Cameron leaned down slightly.

"I said, I'm sorry! Please accept our apology!" Archie yelled, his cheeks flushed, his gaze filled with anger. His pride was gone, but he vowed to make Cameron pay later.

Cameron saw through his act but merely brushed it off, muttering, "You're not being sincere."

"That's enough, Cameron!" Madison stamped her foot.

"I said, you're not being sincere," Cameron repeated, ignoring her.

"Cameron, you" Madison began.

"Madison, stop!" Archie stopped her again.

He sighed and begged, "I'm sorry. We were wrong. Please come back with us, Mr. Morgan, Ms. Jennings!"

"That's better." Cameron nodded reluctantly, flashing Dakota a gentle smile. "Let's go back inside."

"Okay," Dakota nodded, though she was still unsatisfied. She and Madison had once been best friends, but now they were strangers.

Dakota sighed and followed Cameron toward the elevator. Archie and Madison followed silently, their faces dark. That damn couple!
