Earlier, when Stephanie first came to Long Harbor, both Catlin and Tyler mocked her for not distinguishing between those close and distant to her. But now, Catlin had managed to raise Olivia, who definitely knows the difference.

“I’ve already had someone pass the message to Catlin, you’re welcome.”

“Are you really serious about that ‘you’re welcome’?”

“Totally serious. Absolutely.” When it came to Stephanie, Ella was always very sincere. “I guess they should already be at the Hart residence by now.”

“Catlin is definitely going to be grateful for this.”

Now Catlin could clearly see Olivia’s true colors. The accident’s evidence couldn’t shake them because Stephanie meant nothing to her, and she was still biased. Now, Olivia’s malicious actions had directly impacted Catlin. Stephanie was eager to see what Catlin would do next.

Stephanie said, “Forget it; let’s not talk about the Hart family. So, Lorenzo didn’t do anything to you last night, did he?”

The last thing Ella wanted to hear was anything about Lorenzo. “Last night, I moved all the furniture I could to block the door.” Not only did she lock it, but she also used furniture to block it.

“Huh? Was that really necessary?”

“Why not?”

“Lorenzo’s really harmless, and he’s not a bad guy.”

Just after hanging up, Ella heard a knock at the door. “I’m not hungry right now, don’t feel like eating,” she said right away.

Her attitude showed she was trying to avoid Lorenzo. She was genuinely scared of him, scared of the aura he gave off, and scared to meet his eyes.

“Come out,” came a deep voice from the doorway.

Ella’s heart skipped a beat when she heard it was Lorenzo. She squeezed her eyes shut and curled up further under the covers. “I really don’t feel hungry right now.” The last thing she wanted was to face Lorenzo.

“You have five minutes to come downstairs.”

Ella was speechless; he didn’t hear her at all.

Eric and Bernard came up to the door and saw Lorenzo leaning against the wall by Ella’s door, smoking a cigarette. His tone was especially threatening.

Bernard thought to himself, “Is the boss trying to scare the woman inside to death?”
