Reading Juicy Gossip in Her Mind: Chapters 311 & 312
Chapter 311: Mistaken Identity
"All those lies were to deceive Yvonne. I feared that madwoman would reveal the miscarriage publicly, and the Burke family would blame you, forcing us to break up. But I won't leave you. I was also worried they'd taint your view of me, so I decided: after the wedding, we'll return to our home abroad, cutting all ties here. That's why I said I'd think it over—to stop her from causing chaos. Honey, how could I possibly be with her? Do I seem that immoral? I've told you I dislike children; having one with her is even more unlikely."
The crowd was bewildered by the shocking information. Various doubts arose. Isabella helped fill the gaps.
"What? Caused by Ines? Impossible! Based on my experience, it was that woman," Elaine declared.
"She made such a disgusting request," Deborah exclaimed.
Roland asked, "Shouldn't you mention this if such a troublesome person is marrying your father?"
Damien analyzed, "His father's grieving; he might not side with Aiden, or even be blamed. Leaving is the best option. There's no point confronting her."
After Aiden finished, Ines stared blankly, silently weeping. He anxiously showed his plane tickets as proof of his sincerity. However, Ines cried harder, calling his name, revealing her adoration and heartbreak. She tried to speak, but the pain prevented her. Aiden scratched his head in distress.
Alexander said, "Let's discuss this after you hear this," producing his phone.
Upon hearing "my child with Aiden," Aiden was utterly bewildered. Everyone's eyes widened, fixating on him, likely thinking of a stepmother-stepson relationship.
"She must've lost her mind! What's all this?" Aiden exclaimed, his face beet red.
Chapter 311 (Continued)
Isabella thought, Poor thing. He probably figured out Yvonne's strange behavior, but never imagined her intentions. "Ines, you can't believe her nonsense! I have no connection with her. How could the child be mine?" Aiden said anxiously.
Everyone sighed in relief.
"What's she up to? Deceiving your uncle? Spreading rumors?" Elaine asked.
"I have no idea!" Aiden exclaimed, frustrated by the unjust accusations.
The recording continued, Yvonne describing the night at the Burke manor.
Aiden said, "That night? No, that's not right. I wasn't drunk; I was pretending. I even called Ines goodnight before sleeping."
Ines, remembering their nightly calls, looked bewildered.
"So, she made it up?" Deborah asked.
Damien said, "One would assume so. She couldn't be oblivious to who she slept with."
No one suspected anything from the recording. Isabella broke the silence. "Yvonne mentioned Mr. Ralph couldn't have children, so she must've slept with someone. Maybe she wasn't lying."
Aiden shouted, "Isabella, don't slander me!"
Isabella replied, "Have you considered she might've mistaken you for someone else?"
Chapter 312: Clarifying the Situation
Isabella chuckled, The chaos of unrequited love!
Ines spoke, "If you don't remember her, what about abroad?"
"Abroad?" Aiden was taken aback.
The recording revealed another story. Aiden retorted indignantly at the mention of a marriage alliance, declaring he found his wife himself. He felt betrayed after finding his true love.
Damien scoffed, "There was no interaction between the Burke and Deleon families. She found what she wanted, missing everything else."
Isabella and Alexander agreed; the misunderstandings were numerous, suggesting Yvonne deliberately avoided flaws. Alexander thought, She's lost in her dreams.
Elaine said, "Aiden, you're not a celebrity, yet you have an obsessed secret admirer who followed you abroad!"
