Listen to this chapter:

Taking such a pill in a life-threatening situation was life-saving and life-prolonging. Its value was astronomical.

Tiffany, always generous to her people, gave away the precious pill freely.

The racing competition was about to begin. Ged, having already left the stage, sat in his checked car. The racers' bets continued for some time. Compared to other professionals, Ged was considered a long shot; no one wanted to bet on him.

Zoe, unable to bear it, said, "Tiffany, should we bet on him? It's pitiful to see such a loser."

"Do you want to bet on him?" Tiffany asked.

"Is ten dollars enough?" Zoe replied.

Tiffany was speechless. Zoe wasn't joking; ten dollars was her entire liquid cash.

Tiffany laughed, threw Zoe a black card, and said, "Wait here. Go buy a bet for me."

"How much?" Zoe asked.

"Just say you're betting; the staff will tell you the minimum," Tiffany instructed.

Zoe left, expecting a bet of a few hundred dollars at most. She was stunned when the staff informed her the minimum bet was twenty thousand dollars. Before she could react, her card was swiped.

"Thank you for your bet. Here's your voucher," the staff member said.

Zoe returned, dazed and near tears, her heart trembling. "Tiffany, I'm in trouble!"

Tiffany smiled calmly. "It's not a big deal." Her nonchalance was remarkable.

Zoe was shocked. "That's twenty thousand dollars! It's killing me!"

Although Tiffany wasn't blaming her, Zoe was frustrated. "I thought a few dollars would be enough! If I'd known, I wouldn't have said anything!" She thought, Most importantly, spending this money on Ged is pointless!

Tiffany, unfazed, pulled Zoe to a nearby bar. "Let's rest and watch the race."

The arena was noisy, but the bar was quieter. Tiffany and Zoe, two striking young women, immediately attracted attention. Tiffany's natural elegance and beauty made her the center of focus.

Several men approached, but Tiffany politely refused. They retreated respectfully; no one dared to cause trouble. They assumed she was either wealthy or connected. It was best not to offend someone of unknown status.

However, some were foolish.

Shortly after they sat down, a man in his forties approached, glaring sinisterly at Zoe. His mocking smile was chilling. "So, you broke off our engagement to find someone better!"

Zoe was stunned. Her parents had forced an engagement; the man had given a betrothal gift of one hundred thousand dollars, which she had returned. Unpleasantness had followed, but she hadn't pursued it. Now, she met him here!

Angry, she said, "I returned the money. I have nothing to do with you."

The man scoffed. "I gained nothing, and you just returned the money? You're disrespecting me!" He reached for her.

Zoe stepped back just as a glass bottle shattered, its jagged edge slicing Devin's hand. Blood flowed.

Tiffany shook her head disdainfully. "Sir, at your age, you should be more pragmatic. Chasing young girls? Have some shame!"

Devin finally noticed Tiffany. Her designer clothes, stunning beauty, and regal air spoke of wealth and connections. He assumed she was Zoe's relative, believing Zoe couldn't afford to be at such a venue otherwise.

He sneered and called over some thugs. "Ten thousand dollars to tie those two girls up!" He smashed another bottle, seemingly to vent his frustration.

The thugs approached, but were shocked upon seeing Tiffany. They stammered, terrified. "Why… why is it you…"

"Spare us! We're leaving!" They were the thugs Tiffany had disciplined earlier that morning, who had confessed to security. They were released days ago, only to run into her again.

They wanted to flee, but Tiffany simply smiled. "Did I tell you to leave?"

The thugs froze, remembering their earlier punishment.

Devin, stunned, shouted, "Twenty thousand! Do it!"

The thugs were tempted, exchanging glances. Then, they heard a sneer.

Tiffany walked over, her gaze disdainful. She threw a black card onto the counter. "I'm booking this bar for the night, all expenses paid. Serve the most expensive wine. Anyone object to this irksome fellow being removed?"

There were no objections. The offer of a fully paid bar, potentially costing hundreds of thousands, far outweighed a paltry twenty thousand dollars to remove a man.

The crowd roared in approval, urging Devin's removal.

Devin, realizing Tiffany wasn't bluffing, was aghast. Her payment for the bar easily exceeded a million dollars.

He was not wealthy; his assets were insignificant compared to Tiffany's spending. Ridiculed, he prepared to leave. The thugs, following Tiffany's instructions, threw him out.
