Tiffany’s departure for school left Stan reeling. Her harsh words echoed in his head as he stood, stunned. Twenty thousand dollars was insignificant to a wealthy girl like Tiffany, merely the cost of a designer handbag. But for Stan, it was a life-altering sum. His dreams were shattered; his wife demanded money, and his daughter berated him for his perceived stinginess.
He desperately tried to explain himself to Selena, but the damning video evidence sealed his fate. The video showed Stan, intoxicated, boasting to two women about mansions and luxury cars in exchange for companionship. He dismissed it as drunken talk, but Selena and Sandra took it literally. Selena’s ultimatum was stark: produce the money within three days, or she would reveal everything to Charlie. She reasoned that if Stan would abandon her, she might as well destroy everything. They'd all lose their privileged lifestyle with the Kelleys, but at least Stan wouldn't escape unscathed.
Stan remained in denial, refusing to accept the consequences. A sinister glint crossed his face as he muttered, "Well, my dear niece, you brought this on yourself. Thought you could look down your nose at me and throw money around to get your way, huh?" A smirk playing on his lips, he left, planning a significant move and seeking backup.
Meanwhile, back at school, Tiffany tackled her exam. The questions were largely recycled, but with added difficulty. Kenneth, the test creator, usually excelled, but this time, his computer was hacked and wiped clean, leaving only a large, bold "Loser" displayed on the screen. Everyone laughed, but Kenneth was mortified by the obvious personal attack.
Tiffany, however, was elated. After lunch, she encountered Kenneth.
"Was it you who messed with my computer?" he demanded.
"Like I'd know how to do that," Tiffany retorted with a grin. "Shouldn't you be asking if I'm the one who called you 'Loser'?"
Her quick wit left him speechless. He persisted, following her and saying, "What's going on with you and my uncle? Watch it; the Hampton family isn't your stepping stone!"
Tiffany sighed, exasperated by his absurd accusations. He continued his tirade about the Hamptons' influence and her supposed inappropriateness, even suggesting she was desperate because of her failed relationship with him.
Tiffany scoffed, "You've barely had a sip, and you're acting drunk. Beat it. My business with Richard is my own." She added, "Keep this up, and I might just cozy up to your uncle for real."
This infuriated Kenneth. "How dare you be so shameless!" he exclaimed. Tiffany ignored him, walking away.
A few days later, tensions rose. Tiffany, feigning illness, left class early. The teacher readily agreed, swayed by her charm. Instead of going home, Tiffany browsed a bookstore, purchasing two books before leaving.
During this time, one of Stan's informants called. "Boss, the girl you wanted us to watch just left school. What's next? Should we make our move?"
Stan was ecstatic. The boarding school had presented a challenge, but now Tiffany had inadvertently made things easy. "Go for it and knock it out. Don't worry about the money," he instructed.
A license-less van quickly arrived. As Tiffany exited the bookstore, engrossed in her new book, the van stopped, and she was forcibly abducted. Sandra, witnessing the event, was terrified. Kenneth appeared, calming her with a fabricated story about a cat. They returned to class, appearing as a couple, while Sandra secretly hoped Tiffany wouldn't return.
In the van, Tiffany expertly played the role of a frightened heiress. She sobbed, exaggerating her family's wealth and begging them not to harm her. The kidnappers, pleased, demanded her phone, which she readily gave. They called Charlie, following Stan's plan, demanding ten million dollars for Tiffany's safe return. Tiffany's convincing performance, complete with genuine-sounding tears, quickly secured Charlie's cooperation. The kidnappers were exceptionally pleased with the easy success of their operation.
