Chapter 336

The flowers were identical to the pink roses the little girl had sold yesterday. They were of the same variety and alluring. Hundreds, perhaps, adorned the desk next to Tiffany's. For a moment, their fragrance filled the classroom. It was Melody's desk.

Just as Tiffany wondered who had sent them, she glanced back and heard the hushed whispers behind her resume. A few girls were talking enviously and jealously.

One said, "Wow. Mr. Harper is so romantic. It's Wine Day, so he sent all these pink roses!"

"What do pink roses symbolize?" someone asked.

Another replied, "They represent unforgettable first love. He's confessing that Melody is his first love!"

"First love?" Another girl responded bluntly. "It's not wise to confess your love to a new lover so publicly, right? After all, Tiffany is his fiancée…"

The other girl said, "How could you be so uninformed? Their engagement was annulled long ago. Besides, it's a new era; parents don't decide their children's marriages anymore. It's up to them."

The discussion grew heated. Tiffany glanced back and tossed a book over her shoulder. "Can you all shut up now?"

She didn't mind the roses, but that didn't mean she was indifferent to the gossip. The moment the book landed, all voices ceased.

A servant immediately picked up the book, dusted it off, and returned it to Tiffany with a fawning smile. "Tiffany, your book."

Tiffany looked up and saw a new face—a boy with thick eyebrows and large, refined eyes. His smile was well-behaved and a little silly. He looked ordinary, but Tiffany recognized him from her past life: Mark Johnson, a future medical genius, a legendary figure.

However, Mark's well-behaved nature often made him a target for bullies. His actions were attempts to please her and seek protection.

Tiffany raised an eyebrow and asked knowingly, "Are you new here? What's your name?"

Mark said, "Yes, I arrived yesterday. My name is Mark Johnson."

A larger boy in front of Tiffany grinned. "I heard you break bones. I want to work for you."

Tiffany was speechless. She looked at him disdainfully. She finally understood why this boy was bullied; he was incredibly naive. However, his simplicity also meant he was guileless.

Considering Mark's talent and future achievements, Tiffany agreed. "Alright. If you need help, feel free to come to me."

She would assist him as much as possible, hoping to recruit him for Miracle Healer in the future. His talent was too valuable to be wasted.

Upon hearing this, Zoe approached jealously. "No one can take my position as Tiffany's trusted aide! You have to step aside!"

Unexpectedly, Mark simply said, "You have lipstick on your front teeth."

Speechless and embarrassed, Zoe fled to the washroom. Tiffany burst into laughter. Her smile was breathtaking, her eyes sparkling like stars. She was stunning. Mark was captivated.

At that moment, Kenneth entered, witnessing the scene. He saw Tiffany, smiling faintly, and Mark standing beside her. Mark's stunned expression ignited a burning jealousy in Kenneth's heart.

The girls in the class erupted upon seeing him. "Mr. Harper, are these flowers for Melody?" some asked. Others exclaimed, "There are 999 flowers!"

Kenneth pretended to examine the flowers, secretly observing Tiffany's expression. She was indifferent and calm, still chatting with Mark. Kenneth felt discouraged. He had bought the flowers—999 of them—to remind Tiffany of the pink roses he'd given her at the beach yesterday, but she seemed unconcerned.

Kenneth's face darkened. He sat down, ignoring the girls' questions. The class fell silent, no one daring to bother him.

A few minutes later, Melody arrived. She accepted the flowers with a smile and planted a kiss on Kenneth's face. "Thank you, honey."

Kenneth froze before recovering. "You're welcome." The commotion intensified, with excited screams and whistles until the bell rang.

The day passed quickly. After school, Tiffany went to Luna Villa. June had called earlier, informing her that a VIP had visited Miracle Healer requesting medicine. The VIP's identity was extraordinary, demanding Tiffany's personal attention. Jeremy was driving. Tiffany changed her appearance and asked, "Who is this VIP?"

She assumed the VIP's influence was considerable if June respected them.

Jeremy replied indifferently, "He's from Traron City. His surname… Ashton."

The Ashton family! Tiffany was stunned. They were one of Traron City's four prominent families, immensely wealthy and powerful. This was extraordinary.

Tiffany checked her reflection and nodded. The car soon arrived at Luna Villa. Inside, Victor sat on a leather sofa, drinking coffee with his energetic butler and several servants.

Tiffany approached, smiling politely. "I apologize for the delay."

Victor and his butler looked up. They saw Miracle Healer—a teenage girl with delicate features and graceful composure. Her demeanor was neither subservient nor arrogant, only calm.
