Chapter 352
The girl said nothing. June, following behind, stepped forward and shook Charlie’s hand. “Mr. Kelley, it’s been a while.”
Charlie recognized her. “Miss Spencer?”
He shook her hand, a light touch, then smiled. “Indeed, it’s been quite a while.” Charlie and June had previously met at a drinking party.
Miracle Healer’s reputation was growing in Lovell City, making her medicine highly sought after. Naturally, many people wanted to be close to June.
After greeting June, Charlie looked at the girl before him. “This is…?”
June smiled, her tone respectful. “She’s the owner of Miracle Healer. Her surname is Wood, and her name is Jacqueline.”
Tiffany, her face disguised, said calmly, “Mr. Kelley, I heard from Mr. Sidney Pauley that your relative is hospitalized. I came to deliver medicine.” She used Sidney as a convenient explanation.
Hearing the girl knew Sidney, Charlie wasn’t surprised; he was pleased. “Really? That’s great!” Anyone would be honored by Miracle Healer’s presence.
Charlie immediately ushered Tiffany inside. “Please, come in. Let’s talk inside.”
The high-class ward was spacious and clean, with a small kitchen and washroom, along with sofas, tables, and chairs.
Tiffany entered but didn’t sit. She went straight to Melody and asked, in a detached tone, “Is she your relative?”
“No, she’s—” Charlie began, but Melody interrupted, “Dad.”
She addressed him timidly. She didn’t explicitly state her identity, but calling him “Dad” was enough for outsiders to understand the relationship.
Tiffany smiled and sat quietly by the bed. “So you’re Mr. Kelley’s daughter. That’s good. Since I’m here, I’ll take your pulse. Reach out.” Even Asclepius, Sidney, couldn’t diagnose the problem, so Tiffany needed to examine Melody personally.
However, Melody didn’t move. Tiffany’s disguise was excellent; it fooled Charlie and everyone else. But Melody knew her identity as Miracle Healer from Sandra beforehand. To avoid exposure, she couldn't comply.
Melody said, “No, thank you. I had a checkup recently. Thank you for your kindness.”

Chapter 352
Melody yawned and looked at Charlie pitifully. “Dad, I’m tired. I just want to sleep for a while.”
Charlie, though weary himself, appeased her. “It’s okay. She’ll just take your pulse. Just stretch out your hand. It will be…”
Melody couldn't believe he still suspected her. Hatred filled her heart, and her eyes instantly turned red. “But I don’t want it… Can you stop tormenting me?”
Before Charlie could respond, Tiffany grabbed her wrist and asked with a faint smile, “Are you so afraid I will find out something?”
“Wrong,” Melody shook her head, smiling and lowering her voice so only they could hear. “I’m just afraid you won’t be able to find anything and will be extremely disappointed.”
Speechless, Tiffany sneered. Her fingers were already on Melody’s pulse, but found nothing abnormal.
Melody’s kidney failure was real, but there were no other abnormalities. Tiffany wondered, ‘How could this be?’
Watching Tiffany’s changing expression, Melody sneered inwardly, but asked aggrievedly, “May I ask if you’ve found anything?”
Tiffany remained silent. Charlie, beside her, anxiously awaited the results.
Tiffany closed her eyes, then stood. “It’s the same as the hospital’s examination. However, a transplant isn’t necessary. Miracle Healer’s pills can help you recover gradually. It just needs some time.” She didn’t want Thalia to donate her kidney. This was the only solution.
Charlie was overjoyed. “That’s great. I can’t let Miracle Healer lose these medicines for nothing. Miss Wood, how much do you think is suitable? I’ll write you a check.”
Tiffany refused. She gestured to June, who left a small bottle. “There are ten pills. She needs one every seven days. I’ll deliver more when these run out.”
Charlie said, “Thank you. Since you don’t want compensation, my Kelley family owes Miracle Healer three favors. My name is Charlie Kelley. If you need my help, feel free to ask, Miss Wood!”
“Okay,” Tiffany agreed and left the hospital with June.

Chapter 352
On the way, Tiffany couldn’t understand how Melody had faked her kidney failure so realistically. June was also puzzled. “Miss Kelley, you didn’t find anything abnormal. Could it be real?”
“No way!” Tiffany immediately rejected this. If Melody were truly ill, she would have used this from the start.
June considered it. “In that case, there’s only one reason!”
“What is it?” Tiffany asked.
“Bloodbites,” June explained. “A type of insect thought extinct. Those creatures… could create something flawless.” But Melody was ordinary; she couldn't have obtained extinct bloodbites.
“But that’s impossible,” June denied, “I just said it casually. Miss Kelley, don’t take it to heart.”
Tiffany frowned, falling into contemplation. She remembered her past life: the Kelley family’s destruction at the hands of Sandra’s family, controlled by someone behind the scenes. Could it be related to Melody? Was someone targeting her and the Kelley family?
Tiffany removed her makeup in the backseat. Soon, the car stopped at Cedar Ridge Villa. She saw Thalia exiting, with servants carrying soup, blankets, and necessities – prepared for a long hospital stay with Melody. Tiffany slowly walked over.
