Chapter 409

Morwen settled back into the car, but suddenly changed her mind as the vehicle started moving. "Wait," she said, "let's meet with Miss Kelley first." A smirk of disdain curled her lips; she was eager to see who would dare compete with her, the Saintess of the Azure Sea Royal Family, for a man.

Tiffany spent the entire morning at school, moving between the classroom, art studio, and library. After her therapist’s hypnosis sessions and guidance with Thalia, she felt inspired to develop a unique form of hypnosis combining her abilities. She had been frantically researching in the library for the past few days. If she could find relevant books and truly master hypnosis, getting someone to tell the truth would become much easier. Therefore, she was thoroughly searching the library.

The Lovell School library, nicknamed the Treasure Vault, contained many books—famous and obscure alike. Tiffany made her way to the third floor. The higher she went, the rarer the books became, as fewer people ventured to this level because of its specialized collection.

She didn't expect to run into Kenneth. Tiffany paused momentarily, and Kenneth looked equally surprised. "You—" he began, seemingly wanting to greet her, but Tiffany brushed past him.

A wave of bitterness washed over Kenneth. He forced a wry smile, but his gaze lingered on Tiffany, who was lost among the bookshelves. Her school uniform radiated youthful energy, and her long hair was tied in a high ponytail. Her delicate skin and stunning features were captivating.

Unable to resist, Kenneth approached her and asked, "What are you looking for? I can help you."

"Are you that kind?" Tiffany asked teasingly. She didn't believe him and left, ignoring him completely.

Kenneth quickly chased after her. "I'm quite familiar with this place," he said. "Tell me the book title, and I can help you find it. It'll be more efficient than searching aimlessly."

Tiffany wondered why he had suddenly changed so much. Confused, she mentioned the book title, asking, "Do you know where it is?"

"No, I don't," Kenneth replied, shaking his head awkwardly. His usually calm demeanor was overshadowed by lingering embarrassment. The library contained too many books spread across several floors; he was only familiar with those related to his major. He had never paid attention to the book Tiffany mentioned, so naturally, he didn't know its location.

Tiffany remained silent and was about to continue her search when the librarian rushed over, calling, "Someone is looking for you downstairs. You should go check!"

Tiffany thought, Who could be looking for me at this hour? She furrowed her brows in confusion but headed downstairs.

Kenneth stood still until Tiffany left. Then he rolled up his sleeves and began searching through the books individually.

Chapter 410 (assuming this is the intended chapter number)

On the shaded path below, a Rolls-Royce was parked under the trees. Morwen sat elegantly in the car, a glass of rich, sweet wine at her side. The maid stood nearby, glancing repeatedly at the library entrance. Growing increasingly frustrated by the delay, she muttered, "Who does that Miss Kelley think she is? She doesn't know what's good for her!"

They had initially planned to go to the Kelley family home to find Tiffany. However, after sending someone to investigate, they learned that Tiffany attended Lovell School. They then drove directly to the school. Unable to find Tiffany in the classroom, they inquired further and eventually located her in the library.

The maid's frustration grew. "Miss Xanthus," she said, "you are showing her respect by wanting to meet her! How ungrateful of her to keep us waiting like this! She has a big attitude!" Just as she finished speaking, a girl slowly emerged from the library. The girl was slender, and her school uniform accentuated her graceful waist. Her youthful face was makeup-free, yet her natural charm was breathtaking.

The maid called out, "She's coming! Miss Xanthus, is this the Miss Kelley you were looking for?"

Morwen swirled her wine glass, casually turning her head. But as soon as she saw the girl, her expression changed dramatically, and the glass slipped from her hand, shattering on the ground.

The maid turned in surprise, witnessing Morwen's transformation. Morwen, once aloof and elegant, now had wide eyes and trembling lips.

"How is this possible? How can she still be alive?" Morwen's hands shook.

The two maids exchanged confused glances and asked, "Miss Xanthus, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing at all." As she saw Tiffany approaching, Morwen quickly slammed the car door shut and shouted at the driver, "Drive! Hurry up and go!"

The driver looked confused but started the vehicle. The Rolls-Royce sped away rapidly.

Tiffany stood under the shade of the trees, glancing around in confusion. She thought, The librarian said someone would meet me here, but there's no one here. Except for the Rolls-Royce that had just sped away. "Why would they leave so quickly if they wanted to see me?" Tiffany frowned, puzzled, but decided not to dwell on it. Just in time for lunch, Tiffany left the library and headed towards the cafeteria, where Zoe awaited her.

Meanwhile, Morwen couldn't shake her shock. She felt tense and anxious throughout the journey, her body trembling uncontrollably. Memories from thirteen years ago flooded her mind. Back then, she wasn't the Saintess of the Azure Sea Royal Family but merely the daughter of an ordinary servant. Because of her humble status, everyone looked down on her. Only the young princess, the sole heir of the Azure Sea Royal Family, would talk to Morwen. Even when others bullied Morwen, the princess stood up for her. Morwen remembered that delicate, vibrant princess in a golden royal gown. Her laughter was sweet and crisp.

The princess had stunning features; even at age five, she possessed a breathtaking beauty. Everyone bowed and paid their respects, calling her "Your Highness," including Morwen, the daughter of a servant.

Morwen clenched her fists. Back then, she could only bow and catch glimpses of that luxurious dress. She wondered if she was willing to accept a life forever labeled as the daughter of a servant.

Morwen endured until she could use the princess’s trust and innocence to conspire with several factions, sparking a fierce conflict. No one knew the extent of her involvement, but it went as planned—the princess vanished amid the chaos.

She thought, After more than a decade, she should be dead, right? So why is she here? Why now?
