Chapter 480

The moment Felix attacked Richard, Tiffany tried to rush forward, but Grelle pounced on her from behind and shoved her aside. Before falling, she used her body to block three silver needles aimed at Richard. Consequently, she was slandered for betraying him. Grelle, however, gained a good reputation from a minor scratch on her arm.

Tiffany lowered her eyes. Lacking tweezers, she could only try to remove the three silver needles with her fingers. The sharp needles grated against bone. If she wasn't careful, she risked embedding them deeper.

Her face was pale, her forehead beaded with sweat. The process was excruciating. She pulled out the first two needles, but the third was lodged too deeply. She feared using too much force would drive it completely through the bone, requiring surgery. However, she had to win an upcoming arena match—she had no time for surgery.

She had to win. Tiffany steeled herself and was about to act when someone pulled her back. Looking up, she saw Felix, his expression complex.

He asked, "What do you want to do now?"

Tiffany waved him away, but he grabbed her. Felix squatted, took out a small pair of tweezers, and carefully removed the third needle.

All three needles were out, but Tiffany's knees were bleeding. Felix produced a handkerchief from his jacket and covered her knees, his expression unreadable. Tiffany stood.

However, she noticed Felix's hand, recently broken by Richard, was completely healed. She mused, "Even if he could heal his hand, it shouldn't look perfectly normal. It's as if he was never injured. No wonder he was so fearless when Richard almost strangled him. Could this be another ability granted by the Treasure Box?"

Tiffany had an idea.

The new group match had begun—a deadly game. Teams of several contestants fought until only one remained, meaning everyone would eventually face their own teammates.

Felix looked at Tiffany and mysteriously asked, "I'll ask you one last time. Are you really going? Aren't you afraid of death?"

Tiffany countered, "Are you sure you're not lying to me?"

"Yes."

After receiving an affirmative answer, Tiffany smiled. "Then I have nothing to hesitate about."

She went straight to the stage.

In the arena, Tiffany's long black hair was pulled back tightly. She looked heroic and sharp. Felix watched from the stands, subconsciously tightening his grip on the railing.

Upon seeing him, Tiffany asked, "What kind of grudge do we have that makes you target me repeatedly?"

He thought, So she really doesn't remember.

Felix's eyes darkened, his gaze fixed on Tiffany. She stood out, possessing a proud and aloof demeanor. Her beauty could charm anyone. From the moment he first saw her, he had wanted her by his side. But fate cruelly intervened. The princess from the Azure Sea Royal Family disappeared, replaced by the despised daughter of the Kelley family.

Felix's pupils constricted, his eyes filled with madness. He looked at Tiffany and silently vowed, "It doesn't matter if you don't remember. I'll remind you of me. I will make you care only about me from now on…"

Tiffany sensed a gaze upon her, but she had no time to identify the "pervert." The game had officially begun, the arena erupting into chaos. Only one victor would emerge, prompting many to attack immediately.

Tiffany looked around cautiously. Five men approached simultaneously. She seemed vulnerable in the chaotic battle, but the reality was different. Tiffany sneered. Her switchblade flashed, and in an instant, all five were incapacitated.

Anyone knocked down could surrender and leave the arena, but could not be attacked again—that was the rule. The fallen men begged for mercy, "We surrender! Stop…"

"Get lost," Tiffany said, retracting her hand.

They fled. The arena was vast, and Tiffany realized the match would be long. She sat down.

In the open-air arena, sunlight warmed her. Tiffany closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Cameras tracked the entire match. Due to her earlier actions, Tiffany was infamous, and a camera followed her continuously. Her every move was broadcast on the large screen. When she sat down, someone asked curiously, "What is she doing? Is she so frightened her legs gave out?"

Another person responded, "Impossible. She's skilled; didn't she just knock several people out?"

A third chimed in, "I think she's trying to confuse her opponents and lower their guard. Or maybe she's aiming for sympathy. No one would dare fight such a beautiful girl."

"Fair enough," someone else agreed.

The audience found this analysis plausible. Tiffany, on camera, fell asleep. Everyone was dumbfounded. They thought, What the hell? Why is she so relaxed? This is a competition! She should just surrender!

"But there's no rule against it…" someone pointed out.

The cameraman, perhaps bored, turned the camera away, but some viewers requested it be turned back, wanting to see Tiffany's sleeping face.

Tiffany had successfully shifted the focus of the audience. Felix, watching the screen, twitched the corners of his mouth.

Tiffany slept for over two hours. A few tried to attack during this time, but she dispatched them with a single kick. Afterward, she decided to act.
